I am one of the few beta testing for the e60 535xi.....
Holy shit this flash is amazing!!!!!! In D mode the shifts are quick and unnoticeable. In sport mode the shifts are instant and nice and hard. In manual mode the shifts are very fast and ut hits hard, almost like a dog box.there is probably a .3 second delay from when you shift the lever until it slams the next gear. I can now hold at over 3,200rpm for a launch and she rockets off the line!! The throttle matching is seamless on down shifts. Just a few more tweaks and this flash will be up there will the 1khp dct gtrs.....im not kidding.

I also now need to flash my mhd to manual as everyone else is suggesting.

What stage?

I am beta testing for the e60 535i and extremely impressed. (Stage 3) D mode is super smooth and hardly unnoticeable with shifts. In D mode it now states what gear you're in D1, D2... S mode is a nice turn up for an aggressive drive like most of us. M mode has taken off the auto shift at high rpms, so it's important to be careful not to forget to shift. Hopefully I helped the install process after working with Clemens to fix a couple bugs in the Pre checks. I am currently running JB4 with MHD BEF. When installing MHD BEF it doesn't give the option to switch to a MT. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems? (So far none) P.S. Sometimes I like to be a rebel and did not remove the JB4. I have integrated Bluetooth, PI, Ethanol analyzer and figured I would first give setting to map 0 a try and I had no issues with the install. ;) Thanks XHP for helping out the boat lovers and the platform!

Here is a fix by @RayBan for the coding issue:

Ok, need some help. I was attempting to flash using xHP and I got this message about coding missing (Had alpina flash) and I followed the above method in NCS to get past this error and it did work but now I no longer have S-Mode. When I push my shifter over it just stays in D mode. Any thoughts?

No. It's the weirdest thing. I went back and read my EGS module and recoded but no luck.

I am going to flash back to the backup from xHD (my alpinia flash) and then manually flash back to stock via Winkpf. We'll see if that works.

You have to uninstall xHP before doing anything with WinkFP. You will lose your license otherwise.

Yep. Was planning on doing that. I'll post the results when I finish. Thanks for the help this far

So I uninstalled xHP then went back and flashed back to stock from Alpinia flash and got my DS mode working again. Went and loaded xHP and got the error "Coding error" again and went back to NCS expert and coded the EGS module and lost my DS mode again...So I am now downloading the latest Daten files (V60) to see if that will rectify the issue. Big PITA thus far though.

I wonder if there is some kind of issue when coding?

Been coding for a number of years now and never had any issues that I couldn't work out. Still waiting for the Daten files to download...
Well let keep us updated. There is a mega link floating around and you can use megadownloader to bypass the limits.

I'm having the same issue on mine. Gonna try coding it back to stock and reflashing under stock tcu software I'll come back and update on how it went.

Also I forgot to mention, I'm getting some jerky. Behavior under half throttle. It's not as noticeable in M but it's really bad in D. I figured it had something to do with adaptations but I've been driving the car all weekend And it's still there. Anyone else experience this?

Please use Tool32, load gs19d.prg, execute Job "status_codierung" before/after coding, respectively when DS is working/not working and post it here.

Ok so I updated my Daten files and updated my NCSExpert while I was at it (screwed somethings up on the way with WINKFP and NCSEXPERT, but fixed) and flashed back to Stock again and had DS mode available again but still got the error in xHP of "Coding Missing" so went back into NCSEXPERT and coded my EGS module again and again lost DS. So back to square one.

Ok, so further down the rabbit hole... I went to load GS19 but it didn't give me any job functions to I went into INPA to troubleshoot and when I went into Transmission > Automatic / GS19 I got the Error: Requesting Control unit not found "GS19, GS19A, GS19B..." Control Unit found: GS19D

So I am stumped at the moment, BTW, this was with DS mode working and Alpinia flashed back

Without seening the data it's out of the blue, but I suspect you changed your Vehicle Order (maybe SAT!?) but are missing something (the paddles?) which should be there with SAT, which means NCS codes your vehicle wrong.

Please read your EGS with NCS and post the FSW_PSW.trc file

Possibility. Read this thread. You may just need the right GS19 file in the right sub folders. There is a newer one (GS19.ipo) and an older one (GS19D.ipo). Depending on which flash you use you need one or the other. I just have them both in the same folders. I think the download links still work in the thread. I have run a bunch of various TCU flashes and some would not work completely (eg clear TCU codes, get paddles to work, reset adaptations etc.) until the right file was there for NCS/INPA to access.

Was able to use Tool32 to run Job "status_codierung" before/after coding (With Sport working and Not working). Here are the logs, look exactly the same. I did note that when I went into NCS it prompted me to load GS19B first which I changed to GS19D.
