LOL. Shows my experience with Tool32! Sorry, I'll try it again tomorrow when I get the chance. Thanks for the direction, I really appreciate it.

Everyone who had problems with the trans still upshifting in M mode under heavy wheel spin, please contact me on Facebook. I've prepared a custom file to test!

So any luck figuring out this sport mode issue? I had mine coded back to stock and got my sport mode to work again. Reflashed xhp and I'm back to square one again. Flashed back to stock and uninstalled xhp still getting the same problem.

You're the only one with this issue, so far.

Please zip the whole xHP Flashtool folder and send it to me via e-mail.

No I didn't get it to work yet. I am in the exact same boat as you with the exact same problem. When I flash back to stock sport mode is there, tried to install xHP and got the coding missing error, coded EGS and lost sport again but was able to proceed with xHD. Flashed back to alpinia and same situation. I have updated to the latest daten files (at least v55).

Any luck with this issue? Seems to be just the two of us experiencing this. Really frustrated, especially since I spent $ on the tool and maps and can't even use it yet.

Yeah I know the frustration. I'm
Working with them on it. It's just kinda slow since I don't do my own coding a rely on a friend to do it for me. He suggested running ncs expert after the flash to xhp. I don't know how that would affect our licensing and what not.

Ive been having some intermittant issues with paddles not working. Doesnt always happen, but it does happen.

Please desribe in what situations this happens? Does the trans neglect a single shift, or do the paddles don't work for a whole drive? Do you miss the paddles right after a flash, or does that pop up somewhere dailying the car?

ive only noticed it occasionally at wot. It just wont shift, until I let go of the throttle and press the paddles a few times then itll shift. And ive never done back to back to back, but they dont just stop working, they still work afterwards. Its like a glitch somewhere lol

With the new maps (Stg3 V1_1) i'm getting a bad tcc behaviour while warm up phase.
First the tcc is closed from 1st-4th gear, then it's opening in 4th and closing again when shifting into 5th gear...
All with nearly the same paddle input (~20%)... That did not happen with the 1.0 under no circumstances.

And can you please do a V1_2 with the 4th->5th gear issue (not finding the gear) fixed?
The 2_1 D-mode is imho useless because at daily driving i never hit more then 2 psi boost. Even for ST cars. It's annoying driving always above 2300 rpm. Those people can easily drive in S-Mode..
I don't like its D-mode at all but that's currently the only Stage with the issue fixed.

EDIT: And how is it possible to generate a .bin file for custom tuning? I only have .bak files in my xHP Flashtool folder

That's just the file ending....that has nothing to do with the content. Rename it to bin and you have a bin.

There are 0 bytes changed between those versions for TCC behaviour. In general, the TCC is never closed in warmup phase in Gear 1-4. It closes when you either reach 5th gear, 60 km/h, 35° gearbox temp or the 600 sec threshold for maximum warmup time. 5th gear is temporary lockup, so it will revert to open as soon as you are back in 4th. The other limits are permanent. Once touched it switches to normal operating mode.

Will send you a custom file for the 4->5. Including you I'm now aware of 3 people facing a 4->5 issue, so no need to update the OTS files.

Unless you've driven a ST car with the lower rpm shifting points, you honestly have no room to speak for the want a the higher RPM shifts in D mode. I literally contemplated selling my car due to how much I hated driving my car normal with my ST. Having to ALWAYS drive in S or M mode was just flat stupid, annoying, and not enjoyable. Now with the higher RPM shift points driving the car in D mode with the ST is actually enjoyable. He's made different Versions for those of you who don't feel the need for the higher RPM shift points.

Yeah D mode with ST is definitely a different experience. Almost feels like something is wrong with the car.

I wasn't a fan of the shift points with stock twins, but with the ST it literally makes you hate driving the car unless you're racing. XHP shift points make driving the car in D mode enjoyable, and feel like the car came with a ST.

I'll have to flash it over, what map do you use?

@RayBan

Is there anything you can do about the intense surge when you are in M-mode cruising and one of the following happens:
a) Someone jumps in front of you so you break hard causing you to down shift
b) Forget your in manual mode and the next thing you know you leap forward 5 inches

I understand the reasoning for it not being the highest concern but... It is alarming the first time it happens by accident.
