Not entirely sure, I connected my car back when it was still in demo mode but didn't reconnect when I purchased the license, it asked to vin lock and I thought because it was only connected to my car that it was the right vin. First 4 digits were right but I don't have my vin memorized. xHP is making it right, and for that I am grateful. What happened ?
I honestly can't make it any more simpler then his instructions are on how to do it, it's really simple. How did you do it? I have NCS expert too. I tried following RBT's instructions but i got lost almost right away.
I noticed 2 issues in 3rd-> 2nd downshift in D mode stage 3 v1_0 :
- coming to a stop slowly, I can hear and feel a "clunk" in the transmission, when the AT downshift from 3rd to 2nd (low rpm, around 1000 rpm). I think it occurs during the ongoing clutch phase. not smooth, and certainly not healthy for the clutch.
-coming to a stop rapidly, the trans downshift from 3rd to 2nd too soon, I can hit 2500 rpm when going in 2nd, not smooth at all, then it upshift immediately after in 3rd when I release the brake pedal and slightly accelerate. It should stay in 3rd the whole time.
no answer from xHP tuner about thoses issues since I posted this.
I would not be happy to switch back to alpina trans flash because of this...
That I'm not sure of, I've been dealing with the guy one facebook messenger for XHP flash.that could make sense.
but is the guy developping the flasher the same person than the tuner ?
That is @RayBan = ClemensThat I'm not sure of, I've been dealing with the guy one facebook messenger for XHP flash.
Then who is Richard Ban aka Richard Ban Tuning aka RBT?
That was an error I believe which was induced due to improper coding of the headlights. There was already a version released which makes that check in advance so the failed flashes don't happen. If it was another error, @08_335i would have to elaborate.Hmmm...
I'm seeing too many issues to pull the trigger yet. Getting stuck and not being able to quickly recover is a major concern for me as this is for my DD. Looks like it's still in beta???
I'm having torque limiter issues on IJE0S (AWD Xi and RWD).
2 first cars were I8A0S, and no torque limiter issue.
Never had torque limiter issue on IJE0S/INA0S DCT for years.
but IJE0S (rwd or Xi) are not working correctly, from my first tests.
Hi guys, long time reader.
Just some feedback for the N54 stage 3 XHP
I am having issues with slight slipping going from 3rd gear into 4th at WOT at mid to high RPM.
4th to 5th gear at WOT and mid to high RPM will shift into 5 and then what feels like back into 4th but still showing 5th on the gear indicator and shortly after revs to the moon and hits gearbox fault.
Coming from the Alpina flash i never encountered these issues so just looking for some help as to why XHP could be causing issues now.
Welcome!
How much power are you putting down?

Maybe your trans just needs some more cold/warm cycles to adapt. On some cars all works instant like intended, on others it seems to take some time. I strongly relate this, to how much the adaptions have already jumped in for wear and slip in the past. Don't go out and beat on it. (it won't adapt in such situations) Drive it around normally in D mode and let it coast. It adapts quickest in low load/coasting situations.
