Your hot!That's hot
Is that a NO HOMO type thingYour hot!
Is it a smart idea to throw a torque wrench on the crank bolt just to make sure its still fully torqued?
Nobody asked for your irrel.....nvm, you are goodOmg I can't be laughing this much at work!
Trust me the noise is great when it happens, @dmec1 knows the trick to stop it but its not for us peasants. I say you put it on E and let it eat, those motors seem to hold just fineI've only taken my car out a few times this year as the weather is still cold around here. Every time I go WOT and bang the gears I am just waiting for the engine to pop because of this damn thread
N54_Destroyer.I don't think @SLOWESTN54 has taken apart that motor yet to see if it had some cam issues. But yes if you never wanna spin the hub just get a 1 piece pinned crank hub
Don't wanna get the new guy the wrong impression of our youngest associate. Tryna save his rep just slightlyN54_Destroyer.
Plz make a note of this.
My rep lmao. Hey come on I deserve some respect, at least I fix them myselfDon't wanna get the new guy the wrong impression of our youngest associate. Tryna save his rep just slightly
That is true you break it pretty fast but your also back on the road pretty fastMy rep lmao. Hey come on I deserve some respect, at least I fix them myself
I'll hook you up on vendor pricing if you end up wanting a hubWow.... that totally sucks. Same thing happened to that youtube guy (vehicular diy) after he manual swapped his e90. Spun his hub and he was barely on it.
My biggest fear is spinning the hub..... and this thread was pretty good reading until page 5 was infiltrated.
Thanks for the offer.I'll hook you up on vendor pricing if you end up wanting a hub
Lmao oh that all never got moved . I’ll be posting a update here soon. Got the motor apart.and this thread was pretty good reading until page 5 was infiltrated
Those bolt captures really don’t work. Technically the bolt and the hub just spin together then. @SlowE93Thanks for the offer.
If I hadn't already put my oil pan back on I'd think about it.
I may try one of those hub bolt capture things. I don't know, from what I've read I'll be fine with the setup I'm running on my e60.
100% learn the hard way I geuss. Use that 120 dollars for a real proven solutionThose bolt captures really don’t work. Technically the bolt and the hub just spin together then. @SlowE93
