Gents,
I have twin plate 240mm organic clutch options I can ship out (almost) immediately for those who are unwilling to wait for the Xclutch. Just say the word :)

What are the specs on the ones you have? I was looking into a clutch a while back then ran across the x clutch GB, but that seemed to be having issues at the time. There is a company called hopwoods thats makes an organic twin disk I was looking into as well. Still on the fence.

I know he's focused on the rear of the E90, subframe, suspension geometry, etc. I don't know if this Ohlins trip is just for E90 stuff, or if other things also. He's working on a variety of BMW solutions for different BMW chassis' as well I believe as some track only applications. Back to E90 I've seen some photos of parts, stuff welded up, equipment taking various measurements. Who the hell knows what he's doing lol

Filippo
If you guys want the regular Ohlins R&T DFV, I know where to get them for $1700. That's what's going on my car.

also in for info: price, holding capacity, spring/unsprung

1000Nm Torque capacity, Unsprung organic full-face 240mm discs, $1600 price, and most importantly almost-immediate delivery! Pics to follow shortly, currently busy with tuning my car :D

PS - Before you ask, I'm taking it slow and easy, but from the looks of it, would you believe me if I told you that I have close to 500bhp SAE @ 135 load (9-10psi) on pump gas? :p

That N53 head and the cams are really making themselves known.

I like to think the HP800s have something to do with it as well :p

Another datapoint of note, I'm getting spark blowout >155load on ungapped S55 plugs + S55 (Delphi) coils with the correct dwell settings loaded in TunerPro. Will gap down to .022" and #Sendit

Hi Omar, since your engine has the N53 head, you're using the aftermarket castings for the manifold, correct? The HP800s for the N54 head use the stock manifold with your turbine housing, correct? Just making sure I have all of the offerings sorted.

Brian,
I use fabricated manifolds welded to my housings on HP800s to suit the N53 head, and stock Boysens (also welded to my housings) for regular plain-jane N54s. You can see more pics on page 1 of this thread if I'm not mistaken..

We're all sucking wind with the prayer of ... "any day now" - we were supposed to do mine end of this month, but we still don't have our outlet solution sorted out. Seems like others have the same issue, and it's being worked ... but ...

Yup. Mine are sitting in my workbench until there's a suitable outlet that can be quickly installed without much fuss.

What is the issue with the outlet?
