Any plans for bringing out a XI version? This is going to be a game changer.

I am looking at your install pictures. The bottom line is yes the xi subframe is different but as long as you have enough clearance under the AC compressor I dont see a reason it will not work. I did not think that the XI 6mT has that coolant hose bolted to the subframe. Its higher up to my knowledge.. So it comes down to is there enough room with the Xi subframe. I will get under mine and look at it.. Of course till you actually try to install it.. that is the true test. If you could measure the distance from one of the AC bolts on the corner to the subframe. It gets tricky but maybe the AC compressor could be moved up a little also? @tony. I am in the bay area also. Be open to being a "guinea pig" on this one
It very well may fit, the only model we can confirm they do not fit on is the E6X 5 series vehicles. The subframe is completely different, and many things are in the way.
There the other area that may be an issue with the XI is the steering shaft.. and rack. Love to figure out a way to get this to work as I really do not like the idea of a supplemental fuel rail. In CA the visual inspection on the smog tests are getting harder to BS my way through. I will take a look at how much room is available for the shotgun.. Tony have you even looked at the XI or more just have not really tried it yet

I was also looking at other ideas. Like what about getting another fuel pump. Like a diesel cummins fuel pump and creating some sort of adapter. From what I have been told those provide way more volume than our pumps. Something like this:

Or... Off of the vacuum pump, create a bracket that supports 2 HPFP. So it would be an adapter from the vacuum pump that holds 3 gears and a mounting point for 2 HPFPs. I am sure you have probably already looked into both of these options though.

Pretty sure this has been analyzed a few times. The control and pump speed come to mind as the issues.

I don't see any mention of lubricant/grease where the hpfp drive gear fits in the keyed shotgun shaft. Factory application has oil in there no? Light dab of bearing grease you think?

I don’t think that Tony is on this forum anymore. Maybe try messaging/emailing @Chris@VargasTurboTech or someone that has installed this can clarify that. But I didn’t see it mentioned in the install guide either.
The stock set up has oil in there, but the shaft to pump is a direct fit -no oil gets in there anyways. A dab of shockproof grease is always a good call.

and that cause stresses to fittings. s ( my profession for past 30 years is on hydraulics)
main rule to do hydraulic hoses is to do it so long that there is some bend on the hose to give it free play
enough to that shrink. on a high pressure line like that the hose will shrink under max pressures
on my estimation by some 5 mm with a force of some maybe 20+ kg and that force will stress
fittings and fuel rail.

This is a very good point. Did you change this hose? What length would you recommend if it was remade? Otherwise cracking the center feed fitting may be a problem to deal with.
Regarding contraction... hose contraction does occur, its typically between 2%-4%. On a 12" hose this is .24-.48". Our double barrel hose has more than 1/2" left in for contraction -see pic below to show how we left the line long with a nice slow radius to the fitting to allow for the contraction.
The hose is definitely tight, its stiff and doesn't like to bend, so while it may be curved, it may as well be straight as far as tension is concerned. Also, the fitting going into the high pressure check valve is cemented or incredibly tight, so as that hose shrinks and straightens out, it will definitely be putting some pressure on that fitting at least in some direction because the hose doesn't rotate at any of the joints. In order to get that hose connected to the check valve, you have to tighten the top one first, otherwise the line won't reach/bend enough to get the top connection on without fear of cross threading.
You can see the angle coming out of the fuel rail is actually pointing up a little bit, and the check valve is pointing away from the block. So, yes, there is a curve, but its required for the hose connections to go in at the right angles, its not slack.

I put my spoon on this too, my hose was as doublespades picture show tight as hell and to avoid that
stress to fittings i put a "special" made hydraulic fitting between hfpf and that 90 degree bend to get it some 15mm higher.
i did another mos too to the hose, bended that 90 degree hose fitting coming to the rail to some 110 degree just to get it fit
better and now i have some maybe 10-15mm extra lenght on my hose.
from my 30 year experience on hydraulics, there can be not Tony depending some minor variations on hose lenght
from supplier of those hoses and maybe 80% fit well with that like on tonys pic but it`s every time to be checked to get the clearance and like on doublespades pic the angle of that fitting is little different maybe and will cause problems.

Just some input, getting great results from the single barrel with the filter removed from the hpfp which is a must. I currently have just a bucketless 450 walbro feeding it and still have more than enough fuel.

I'd say around 675whp, I could see the single barrel being good for low 700s on an e85 mix.

I hit 731whp on just single HPFP without PI. Next Friday I will see what 2 HPFP AND PI will do. And that is with straight E85 from the pump so I read 73% on my ethanol gauge
