This car is full weight xi it's at least 1100 lb heavier if not more

At 1:13 when the car passes the tree you see yellow lights on top light up briefly as front tire crosses pre-stage and stage beams.

The timer isn't started until the car passes these beams (after the yellow lights flash). It's a rolling start not a dig and is 100% making the time better.

As is, this is a high 11-second car, at best.

Rollout debate aside , 131mph is easy 10s. Its got lots of power. Have to respect that.
For what its worth , I think the 10 is legit. Looks to me like no rollout.

At 1:13 clear as day you see the car roll through pre stage and stage beams. Rolling start isn't a legit quarter mile time.

That is most likely the back tires. Not the front breaking the beams.

E92 with the complete interior , full weight (3650lbs) , stock turbos , no nitrous , record is 11.1, the XI with gtx wheels ran a 10.9 from a dig, get over it.

i cant believe im only 4 tenths off of a WORLD RECORD stock turbo 335i. 21.5 psi with 1.8 60 foot. Im sure there is 24-25 psi stock turbos with meth that have gotten into the 10s.

I deleted my last reply because the first post in this thread doesn't specify the car must be yours. So I'll take the fault here. I've updated the thread and submissions must be disclosed when the run doesn't belong to the person posting.

I have looked at the video and this is a normal launch at a drag strip. Yes, the car is moving before the timing commences and that is normal. The reason is that when the staging light comes on, the front edge of the front tire has broken the beam. The timing will not start until the rear of the front tire has passed through the staging beam. That means the car has accelerated/moved the length equivalent to the distance between the front edge of the tire and the rear edge of the tire before the timing starts. The attached link will explain better to those who cannot understand.

It's not location of timer it's the fact that the car started moving slightly early. That was my whole gaurd beam thing. You are supposed to prestage and then roll to stage then stop. If you stop before staged and then launch you accelerated more. It's why shallow hurts rt but helps et and why bracket guys go deep and it helps reaction and hurts et little but that's within allowed limits. This seemed to have been further than normal and everyone knows the most energy wasted is launch and also is the most valuable.

Edit your link does not describe what that video shows correct ? These links are great if they describe situation but you cant say this says black and blue is brown so this is black and brown it should be blue.
