Hey sorry guys, I was waiting on the official results to be posted by the race organizers. I turned the boost up pretty good this weekend due to the good weather conditions and even surprised myself a little. Standing start 1/2 mile best trap of the day was 173.66mph! They dont give out individual time slips but here’s the link to the official results:

@doublespaces - can I make a suggestion for these record & maybe club threads?
  1. Make a Google Sheet
    1. Insert in first post, replacing existing table. (beauty is this forum inline renders Google Sheets)
    2. Add column for proof (video/slip URL)
    3. Open sheet it to public editing.
  2. In opening post, state that people adding to sheet MUST post to the proof to the thread as well. That is the post is the authoritative proof - the sheet merely becomes a convenient roll-up.
Let the community manage the data.

Google sheets are not publicly searchable, so I won't be going that route as its essentially an iframe. The less external resources used the better in my experience.

I already have about 50 development hours planned and quoted for a legit record book but that development probably won't happen until later this year as I've got to tidy up some loose ends.

It will allow user submissions, integrate with the forum and will automatically award titles based on standing etc. I might make a little 1/4 mile crown that will be automatically displayed for whoever is #1, etc. Full dragtimes replacement.

But the idea is that there will be minimum requirements to be on the lists and since it will be integrated into the forum, users can 'report' records if they feel there is a lack of validity.

Sick run. Do you have a log for it? What are you using for supplemental fueling?

Really impressive! Do you have dragy to verify? There are a couple of people in the Porsche scene who had some variations like that on their runs and had about a 4-6 mph deviation from what Dragy said.

Thanks man! Yeah let me try this new datalog sharing thing, let me know if it works! I'm using a BMP port fuel injection kit (750cc injectors, around 90% duty cycle on the PI controller).

Thanks man! Sadly no, they were selling some at the event but they ran out quick. I did buy one afterwards though, so maybe next year or if I hit up an event later in the year. It ran 171-173 three separate times when I had the boost turned up, so it was pretty consistent but once it heat soaked and I saw 170+ IAT's I backed off it so I could still drive home lol

Woah, 170F IAT!? That's really crazy for sure. I'm surprised you didn't have more timing corrections but I guess you're running pretty low timing.

Need our intercooler man! On a 95* day at Shift Sector my IAT barely went up to 120* with about the same boost levels.

In road racing my single-turbo 1M, I regularly see 65-75 degrees over ambient. I've seen these rises with both a very large custom intercooler as well as with the current VRSF HD race design.

I'm about to install the tube and fin Wagner Evo3 and will be adding more ducting and heat extracting hood vents. I may also replace the crash beam behind the bumper cover with tubing so that I can effectively alter the bumper cover with additional openings to enhance air flow.

That’s actually the exact IC I’m running, I’m just pushing this turbo way past it’s optimum compressor efficiency range. I’m not too worried about it with the amount of ethanol though, but it would be nice to get some better air density

I totally forgot you did get one of these! Damn, I wonder how it's so hot! I was running 33 psi and never got that hot.

great work on that! nice to see the forum continue to develop

122*F before the run didn't help, but I know the turbo is past it's efficiency. Being a 11 blade-no splitter wheel compressor design isn't optimal for how I'm running it.

I have none of these events near me, zero. is there any way to include, even separately, dragy results?

even if its just alongside people posting actual slips with their dragys results, so we can compare straight across?

My car isnt that fast and none of these events are anywhere close

I don't see why draggy results couldn't also be included, no matter what even different 1/2 mile events will have slightly different timing systems, different weather conditions, etc. so there is really no great direct comparison

Dragy results will be accepted. Software/smartphone only options however will not.

I just realized that I can be on this list... from a time/mph that I got 2 years ago! lol

At the 2017 Shift Sector Indy Airstrip Attack 1/2 mile standing start, my best run of the day was 159.91mph

At the time my car was set up as the following...

2009 BMW Z4 35i 6mt
Spec Stage 3+ clutch, MFactory FW
MMP stage 3 turbos
MMP outlets
VFSF 7.5 Race IC
ER charge pipe
Tial BOV
MMP port injection kit
Custom Fuelab fuel system- pump, filter, FPR and return line
MHD Wedge tuned on 100% E85
AR cat-less down pipes
Custom 3 1/2" single into dual 3" exhaust system
H&R lowering springs
2 piece TSW 19" wheels and Potenza RE11 tires

I can't wait for next year.. I'll be trying out my all new setup that includes a SpeedTech 6266 Gen2 turbo kit :)

Here's a video of my best pass, against a 900+ hp Charger SRT...:hushed:

What’s the stock turbo record that’s what I’m looking to break this April 4 at no fly zone in California
