if you go on the protools page on facebook there is a number of topics on this and explains how to do it or I guess you can turn it off in your tune going by that topic.

Protools is much easier.
protools shows i have a ekmp60_3 with 17.12.2010 date on it

so this should be a newer ekp3 that was upgraded in the past ?

So i figured it is not a fix but actually a suppression of the 2aae Code.
It is exactly the same as in the video.

If it was constantly over drawing current I would be worried but I'm still running the stock fuse on the fuel pump with the 295 so I'm not because that's what the fuse is there for.

I have the bmp4 for backup just in case I needed it but don't.

I'll be using it on my new twin 295 setup I'm doing for a mates setup.

glad I saw this thread. I had 450 running with ekp3 just switched to 295 today I ending up installing the quantum inline checkvalve after blowing in it did not seem to hard to open so hoping it does not draw a lot more amps than 295 with no check valve..i do not want heat up the wires to much they feel alittle warm although I never really felt them before ..lol. did you run new 10-12 gauge wire from ekp3 to fuel pump? I might get heatsink for pcs with fan and rig it up to take heat off ekp3

Thanks good to hear I will leave it as is I will add a heatsink with fan to mount it to for just for summer heat>>

Finally finished up the new hydramat setup, working flawlessly.

Sits nice and low in the tank now so just need to test how low on the fuel level we can go before it / if runs out of fuel pressure.

Basically the matt covers 3/4 of the passenger tanks floor and if holley's claims are anything to go off the fuel tank will run out of fuel before
the pump looses pressure.

With covid-19 lockdowns its going to delay testing significantly, but looks very promising.

The pump opening only sits 10mm of the hydramat using our custom fitting we made, basically same as stock hight.

It just looks like it does in the pic.

You can rotate and move the pump up/down in the bracket to adjust for the clearance.

It actually sits off the mat nicely.

Question, is there a measurable power difference between the ekp 2 and 3? I'm currently running a 274 as the main pump. Might have to do the 295 upgrade real soon.

At the moment I don't know I ordered one yesterday but due to the quarantine and the fact it's a brazilian part not stocked in Europe it will take a while to be here.

Well been testing the 15x15 hydramat with the 295 and can tell you there is no fuel starvation issues around long sweeping bends when the tank is reading 0 fuel on the fuel distance to empty range reading on the cluster.

I was carrying a 20 litre jerry can strapped down in the boot just in case as the tank was basically running on fumes and previously the stock mat was unable to do this and would starve of fuel at a hint of a corner, there is no starvation with the hydramat.

Need to find someone willing to make the fittings for us as it can get quite expensive to make these by hand.

Am I right in thinking if I run the Walbro 535 I don't need to run two pumps? I am installing port injection and should be close to 600whp Running on E85.
