All good bud, no worries many ways will work, but 3-4 rows of thread with even 100psi I would not be very concerned.

With a properly tq'd down fastener with 4 'rows of thread' that is a fair amount of surface area. I don't see how 100 PSI would be an issue? It has no twisting force to back the plug out right? If anything it would put pressure against the threads like a lock/split/bellevue washer. Just use the RED Loctite 271 as it is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. You will need to put a torch on it to remove the 10-32 plug if you use 271.
I think we are splitting hairs here but I don't see the plug RB supplies being an issue. I don't recall ever hearing of a plug backing out from anyone. They have suited me and many others just fine.
This is the debris from the tap handle only for an RB plug. If you drilled or tapped more threads it would create even more debris:
The above debris was created using the grease method on the tap below. The grease should hold on and allow less to fall in:
There is also the fear of drilling and tapping too far and the 10-32 plug falling in to the motor. That would ruin your day. Have run removing the entire head.

I did not say anything wrong with their plugs .I just recommended what i did. Did not mean to offend did not expect this escalade this far and get attackits just valve cover promo thread . Did not know that they sell their plugs, I guess that is the reason it got this far. And 100psi we should just leave it at that .. my aluminum air tank blew a fitting at 70psi stripped the thread just because it was thread in 3 .

Sorry if this was answered already but can we get it without the logo or do you offer any coatings? Wrinkle black would look great for instance.
