Pushing them in by hand might be a little much but there was very little effort required with the bushes I have.
Don't worry about it too much and just eyeball it. If you are a little off center, the bolt will move the bushing in place when bolting the caliper to the car.

I fixed the guide and updated it to assume the use of the E60 rotor with the eccentric bushing. It was missing some photos when I converted the guide from the "Documents" style back to a normal thread.
I made a little bit if progress today, installed the eccentric bushes into one of the calipers.
Here you can see me hold the bushing along with the washer that most people won't need unless they had their calipers machined by FabFactory for F30 rotors.
Without a press, getting these things out and in was moderately difficult, simply trying to find something that worked. I used a large crescent wrench and an old bolt/washer to pull them out.
Attempts to put them back in with a c clamp did not work out as I ran out of leverage so I went and got an arbor press from harbor freight for $60. So long as you can bolt this thing down you'll be able to press them in with a little muscle:
Just remember where you see those washers or odd spots where the bushing sticks out, yours won't look like that.
You can see now the pad lines up correctly with the rotor
The pad was so far inward that a tip was building up and part of the pad broke off on the other so I don't recommend doing this without this bushing.

We're in the middle of completely redoing the Z4 suspension. The brakes are getting changed as a result. While the front of the car is E90, we're going a slightly different route and I'll post a thread once we actually get to turning wrenches. The rear is E46 (sort of) and EMF brakes - be thankful you guys don't have that BS to contend with!

Yeah, bolted right in also. Do they look crooked? Honestly wasn't sure what to consider 'center'

No, was just asking cause I haven't had a chance to put mine in yet and was wondering if there was a better way... I guess not.
A bracket for what? The front f30 calipers and rotors are a direct bolt on(except the dust shields, they require modification and I recommend not using them as they have caused all sorts of scraping sounds which I've given up trying to solve)
I do believe the same guy makes adapters to use M brakes but I didn't inquire about that.
The genuine 'blue' calipers came with 370mm blank rotors. They can be swapped out for the M Performance dimpled/slotted rotors.
The grey calipers came with 340mm blanks but I believe I've read you can fit 370mm rotors there as well but I can't actually remember for sure, this could be wrong.
If your calipers are indeed BMW 'blue' then the 370mm rotors should be a direct fit. I'd recommend using the blank rotors since they would match nicely with the blank E60 rears.

Worst case you have to press them back out but I did both sides and the bolts went in first try and I didn't do any measuring at all.
They are indeed blue calipers but 340
The grey 340 front calipers are paired with a silver single piston rear caliper
The blue 340 caliper is paired with a 2 piston blue rear caliper for 345mm rotor from factory on the newer model f series f series came with a brake option for m sport and m performance brakes the rears are standard same caliper in rear ( blue )
The front m sport are 340mm come in blue
If you go on ebay and type on f30 caliper you will see some f sport blue calipers are stamped 340 in the back and some are stamped 370/380 the caliper is the same same brake pad for both the difference is the height of the caliper from mounting point 370/380 has taller ears for larger rotor the 340 shorter ears for smaller rotor
I believe the 2er has blue 340mm calipers... That might be a wee bit confusing.
