The one he uses BB with the t51r mod

I have a 6266 and I can say, there is really no reason for the T51 mod, I considered getting it initially. No offense OCDWorkz, but that turbo is loud as hell already, anything more and honestly I think it would annoy me and I love the sound of the spooling. Its more than enough to be 'all natural'.

I am very picky when it comes time to exhausts. Thats why Im obsessed with my BMR 3.5" exhaust and have made several videos on my exhaust alone. Exhausts are easily my favorite part to modifying a car.

I'm no expert, but it's pretty obvious and well known that titanium exhausts have a different tone. Sometimes IMO a titanium exhaust can sound bad, it all depends on the set up and what car its on. I am super excited to see how this one sounds and also to hear more about this single turbo kit. I think the name "your wish performance" is so cringeworthy though lol

Titanium resonates at a different frequency so the sound will be slightly different but frack man titanium is super expensive your looking at about 1.5-2k in material cost for a 3.5in. exhaust.

I think there is a girl on the FB page that has this kit - made just over 600 whp I think with no PI, might have even been on pump gas.

Edit - my bad - she made 622 on E40.

Yes with a GTW turbo and no PI, full boost by 3900 RPMS and e40

I'm kind of getting tired of hearing this stuff. What is causing this?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say most small vendors who have delivery problems are all experiencing the same root cause: Undercapitalization. You have people with the skills and knowledge on how to deliver these products but without the cash reserves to stock inventory to serve the community. Simple as that.

So how do you stop that from happening, protecting the members if you will.

What about all the build to order stuff
You're not going to be able to control their production. I'm sure they pay to advertise here. Make a penalty system. For justified complaints and issues, put a mark on their record. The higher the mark the more they pay to advertise and sell stuff via your forum but make a cutoff. If it's too extreme or too constant of an issue, ban them.

I don't think they're trying to scam anyone. Im sure they just bit off more than they can chew. I was told their 4 inch exhaust would be in production beginning of October. I recently emailed them and they said they aren't making any exhaust right now. I think the plate is just full.

Which build to order stuff? If it's not fully custom, it should be on the shelf. If it's truly build to order, then they should have the car in their shop to build the custom piece.

Because all these kits are built to order. Anything that's fab takes time. For some reason people in the BMW community don't get this. If you don't any wait times go with a large company that can mass produce the kits. The only two companies that I know that can do that with the singles is Motiv and Doc Race. If you go with a small company there's going to be wait times period.
