Yes it is a DEFIV Lockdown (amazing piece of gear) The cooler in the front is engine Oil, it is a MASSIVE SETRAB core with dash 10 lines off a blank oil block off plate from Rob Beck; it is a custom job from CPE (probably going to get it laser etched eventually and powder coated). It increases capacity and keeps temps down, it is complemented by a massive trans cooler and an all aluminum CSF radiator. The passenger side is blank for now, seeing how the dash 10 lines come down that way off the external thermostat it will probably stay empty. I know I know not ideal in front of the FMIC but it will still work just fine, air still flows and fins still release heat. coupled with all the other cooling and meth and e85, my IATs are the least of my worries.

And I still have another trick up me sleeve for cooling.

Awesome build! I was wondering whatever happened to the CPE kit. How do you have anytime to do anything while on recruiting duty? Anyways I'm looking forward to seeing this thing smoke some tires.

OMG!!! it is so funny you understand me. lol recruiting takes up 90% of my time, I am in parris island right now at SNCOIC course so it will take up 95% of my time now. but durring that remaining 5% i give 100% to this build!!

I doubt the car ever happens. I was pumped up to buy this kit for R&D literally 4 years ago. So much has changed over the years that I can't see any way in which the kit is profitable to move forward with and given CPE largely departing the BMW scene in favor of their more profitable platforms it's clearly not in their interest to waste any more time or money on it. Maybe the one or two sample kits that existed will eventually wind up properly installed on cars that will try to tune them but don't hold your breath.
