Here's the tip unscrewed a little. I hope the Helix haven't ruined my timing chain. At this pointi i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Ill be contacting spool. I really want a refund. Im already on my 2nd Helix since April. The 1st one in April leaked oil everywhere and the lube also came out the back. He sent me a new one with a gasket after that. Now that one is toast. I'll keep you updated.

I think i figured out what happened. The Helix is seized. It doesn't turn. Its locked. The hpfp still turns but the tip also turns in reverse which unscrews the tip. This explains why the vacuum pump and cover looks good. Now the question is with the timing chain. You think the chain would suffer failure do to the Helix not able to spin? I guess i can't reconnect the hpfp to see since the tip is lose? Not sure how I could tighten it.
Helix jammed ??? Fully ? To check the chain remove cover in front of the engine .

Yes fully seized. Won't move in the front or back of the Helix. No oil pressure light at any point. Car has long crank but won't fully start now. But the makes sense if the chain won't turn a jammed Helix.

How would adding an extra fuel line help you not leak oil or lube from the part. In my case, the 1st Helix had lube and oil coming out the back of it. I didnt notice it on my 2nd Helix.

Thanks. So, the timing chain turns the vac pump while pump turns Helix. So, maybe just need the vac pump. This is a great car but I'm seriously thinking about parting out and selling it. With stage 2 turbos and full bolt on, I have a lot of great parts. The car is immaculate. But, ill see.
I think You need to look from front frough the houl - cover number 3 https://www.bmwcats.com/bmw/E92/49564/L:N:200702/11/11_3732/?vin=p028246 . I'm thinking about selling every time ))) but I can't make up my mind

Does anyone know what size and threadpitch the bolt is that holds the bracket to the block? I asked Spool on FB but they won't respond. :(

I don’t remember exactly - he forgot to put this bolt on me. I picked it up by typing. There is a standard metric thread for 8 or 10 mm

I didnt get any instructions with my unit, but got it installed nonetheless. Some tips based on me wasting time.

(1) Slide the Helix + HFPP + bracket + bolts together BEFORE putting the unit in. If you try and put the bracket on after the unit is mounted, it isnt going to work.
(2) There is 1 shorter of the 3 long bolts that holds the Helix + HPFP to the vacuum pump. The longer 2 are for the bolt holes that have the bracket. Pay attention.
(3) If you are still running the plastic cover over the valve cover, you will have to trim part of the plastic off near where the high pressure line connects to the fuel rail.
(4) The harness connection to the LPFP sensor is pretty tight. The junction box wont slide into place under the intake manifold after install. I am going to look at making an extension so things go back together neatly.
(5) The LPFP hard feed line into the HPFP is pretty cramped after putting in the Helix. I had to bend the tip part a little in order to get the threads to smoothly engage on the 17mm nut. I used a deep socket of some type or another and had no issues bending it 10* or so.
(6) The billet vacuum plate comes with longer screws. Use the ones they provided.
(7) When you install the billet vacuum plate, replace the oring. This is the only place I could find for it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076B4JS8Z?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
