Lots of bimmers
These do look very nice. If or when my mounts go bad I will be trying these out. I would love to get a guibo but I'd like one that's more for the street rather than race, say 85a instead of 95a.

Thank you for your future purchase! We do not make a race guibo for the E9x/E8x chassis but we have been messing around with a couple designs. If we do release a guibo for these cars it will only be after we put it through a ton of extreme track and road testing. So that wont be for a while.

My motor mounts arrive today. Ordered 4/27 and arrived 5/6 priority mail ... quick. It will be a few weeks before the car is back up on the lift and I can install. So it will be a while before I post more.

On first blush everything looks nice and first rate. Appreciate the Made in USA sticker. My guitars, made with all American products, get the same treatment.

Thank you for testing. I am seriously thinking of the Turner mounts but would love to hear your review on these. I am looking for the best I can get without sacrificing too much NVH. I already have the Twisted Tuning X drive inserts so I am already expecting some of it.

On another note I work for a major USA acoustic guitar manufacturer. If you shoot me a PM with your address I will send you some strings as soon as I return to the office.

Subscribed. I may be doing my motor mounts soon and have started to look into my options.

Has anyone received a set of these yet that could tell us how they perform? I see DocRace is carrying them on their website now.

I put a set on my car, the NVH is definitely noticeable over stock but not bad at all once you raise the idle. If I was a single dude I would probably roll with it but it definitely did not get my GF seal of approval lol.

If anyone wants to see if they can deal with the slight NVH increase I'll sell my mount for like $250 shipped, pretty good deal for someone. They only have about 40 total miles on them

Did you go with the 80A or 95A?

Shit. I'm supposed to install mine next week when the car goes back up in the air. You are the second person I've heard that has said NVH is noticeable and requires the idle to be raised. This seems to contradict Revshift's description.

Nvh is barely increased over the oem mounts. We just got done testing them in a 135i and they feel great. Back to back comparison you can tell a slight difference in nvh at idle. But if I were to get into a car with these 80a mounts thinking it was bone stock I wouldn’t think otherwise when I started it and drove it.

Yep went back and forth on them with that too. They sent me some videos but it wasn't what I had in my car. The only thing I can think of is that it's different for manual and auto (mine is an auto). It all depends on how picky you are I guess, but it's definitely not like stock.

Often times motor mounts need some time to break in a little, from what I've heard, somewhere between 300-500 miles. When I installed my ADE mounts the vibration was fairly horrific at first, but it settled down quite a bit within a week. There's a chance your revshift ones might have done the same given a bit more time.

Personally for my daily driver I’ll be replacing with stock engine mounts or something like stock. I hate rattles and stiffer engine mounts will only amplify those little rattles that are starting to develop on my ten year old car.

IMHO fresh factory mounts are probably not a bad idea. I have Revshift 80a about to go in. Out of town this coming week and Barry's is busy doing Ohlins testing at Nelson Ledges ... so I think we after next we'll be back on wrapping up the car. I should have feedback on the Revshift 80a in a few weeks.
