Just a quickie in my e60 this morning. She has a really nice howl when you put it down.
Special thanks to @carabuser for being to meticulous with the tuning. You rock dude.
Special thanks to rbturbo for the the awesome turbos.
Also thanks to @SLOWESTN54 @fmorelli @wheela @Torgus @doublespaces @NoGuru @Jeffman and everyone else who has replied and commented on my posts. Very helpful.
It sure is. When I first started with FBO mods and mhd tunes there was always something causing a misfire, low boost, overboost or some code. Bad coils and wastegates were main culprit.Sounds awesome! Being able to pull to the redline is key!
Thanks!Aye glad it all worked out! Car looks quickkkkk.
You read my mindDid you get bronchitis too?
Never. Gets. Old.
Nice! So the only thing you changed to achieve stronger performance > 120 mph was the upgraded lpfp? Nothing else tune related yet? I'd have thought you wouldn't feel anything different from the bigger pump unless you were misfiring before from the smaller lpfp not keeping up?The car pulls hard and fast all the way to 150mph now. Before that it would start to loose ooomph at 120mph.
I think so. I think the issue why it was falling flat after 120mph was mostly due to the lpfp not being able to keep up with the demands of the turbos and tune.Nice! Honestly I don't plan on flying around at anything past 120mph. The pump feels like it made a difference off the line too as the engine isn't starving for fuel anymore.
I didn't have any misfires. However @carabuser did mention to me that the fuel delivery was struggling to keep up.
Should I have had misfires?
Maybe it's in my head is pulling more at higher speeds.
Almost fine tuned on 93. We're on revision 14. Once he's satisfied with the fine tuning he's going to make me an e50 map for when I run ethanol. Are you tuned on pump 93 now and will be getting an E50 map made?

Oh. I know. When I had stock turbos I used to run the MHD OTS e30 map. That was fun..... but nowhere close to what I'm putting down now with regular 93 octane. If you like it now on 93 you are going to love the E50 map
