I have all I need to custom the full tune. No issues with gts anymore. 2 already running the custom tune. And myself. Luv itGear ratios, no... But you lose out on hardened axles, better diff (debatable), GWS, bigger gear display, etc... The pros are not doing months of hardware changes and customization on the parameters.
This is a custom tune via XHP ? Or you are tuning the DCT some other way?I have all I need to custom the full tune. No issues with gts anymore. 2 already running the custom tune. And myself. Luv it
thanks bro . i will do thatHow about you try to read my comment?
Welcome to SS Kevin!thanks bro . i will do that
Modifying the m3gts file. And flashing same way as when flashing gts after swap.This is a custom tune via XHP ? Or you are tuning the DCT some other way?
I need in on this. Was loving the M3 GTS swap but having some slip issues and funky shifts on kickdowns and whatnot. Enlighten us please!Modifying the m3gts file. And flashing same way as when flashing gts after swap.
Definitely will do, though I'm N55 i believe the trans behaves the same way. I think I just found you on the Facebook group too.View attachment 48374
Just PM me. U r not the 1st with this issue. And they luv my adjustments. I just need some info on ur setup. I adjust to it. And make it wprk way better for our n54 tunes. (Need tune rpm limit, diff ratio, and power goal) i make d shift maps more sporty and default LC to ur prefer number and way more.. i install thru teamviewer with the standard tools.
No man. And now that i customized the tune even less. Made sportier on D mode. And ratio adjusted even to the 3.08 i have. Increased line pressure. Everything is smoother. Also force shift maps adjusted to my rpms limit as per dme tune 7990. All just much much better.Have you had any issues with flashing GTS tunes @Begood69 ?
Replace DSC Sensor Plug. The DSC sensor should be connect to DSC unit follows
DSC UNIT > DSC Sensor
39 > 4
27 > 2
11 > 3
28 > 1
After this you should calibrate your DSC unit and sensors. ( use bmw ISTA to do this ),
Hello there, did you manage to get the DCT swap working?Hey guys,
last weekend I did the wiring for my dct swap. Iam a little bit confused because my old X6021, X6031, X6041 female connectors that came from the transmission has 2 rows with 4 big Pins. So my original male connector has it, too. The new connectors of the dct wire have 1 row 4 big Pins and one row with 8 small Pins like the wiring diagram.
Can anybody tell me if that is normal?View attachment 22829
Are you sure? My 2007/06 is wired this way already? Im done with the shifter wiring... I think. Now I jumped to the dsc sensor but like I said, my oem pin out is the way you mentionned already...?small update from imad777 from the other forum copied over here for pre 08 cars
A little of correction. The F-Can goes to 11 and 26, not 11 and 28. And the pin numbers of the sensor are 3,5,2,1 of the sensor (instead of 4,2,3,1). Final mapping would look this way:
39 -> 3
27 -> 5
11 -> 2
26 -> 1
39 (CLUS SP, wires to sensor pin #3)
27 (CLUS GND, wires to sensor pin #5)
11 (F Can High, wires to sensor pin #2)
26 (F Can High, wires to sensor pin #1)

Want to confirm.. dsc vin car vin and trans vin do they have to match. Im tracking his dsc vin differ from "szl", from tranny and kombi. He also have issues doing the relearning of the tranny. He needs some help. Also i am not sure of the dsc part number but will b good to know it. He swapped no changed vin just calibration and it worked without error codes. I am wondering if it is a dsc_90.Hello, I have succesfully dct swapped my 2007 335i but my paddle shifters don't work. I swapped the wires from the blue auto trans connector to the black dct connector in the dome box but my paddles still don't work. Any idea's?
