Does anyone know if a 16" wheel will fit on the back of a 135i with stock brakes?

Generally no but there was an example with a CCW wheel out there that managed a 16 inch wheel with the stock brakes. Not sure if they needed to grind the caliper or not. If I recall the car was even on their website under customer pics.

My 275 19 inch nt05s have been great I can actually use second gear as long as it's above 50 degrees. First I can get to choose claw at three street while spinning then grab into second if tires are hot.

Anyone got experience with Nitto NT05R? Looking for a 275/40/17 tire for the quarter mile / half mile that will hook 700 wtq

Saw this thread this afternoon and started looking at new tire releases. Anyone seen the Bridgestone S007a? Looks promising for those that don't want a drag radial or R comp out back. Is the Re71R a R comp? The AD08R has me all confused now with their "R for Racing Revolution" bullcrap.

You think you could fit a 16" wheel back there if you grind the calipers a bit?

We got some weird offsets so I was surprised the forgestars had our sizes and weren't that heavy. I'll have to look into durability sometime
Forgestar custom build the wheels to your ET specification. When considering weight, I also like to consider durability. My experience with the Forgestar wheels is that they are rock solid.

I will be soon be at 600 wheel horsepower and have been wondering the same thing for my Z4. I'm currently on 275 30-19. I'm looking at 35s in 275-295 range. Selection becomes an issue. For example Federal doesn't make anything.

I went with re71 (275 rears) on factory m3/m4 18” wheels (513M). Very happy with dry traction! A lot better tire choices with 18” and nicer ride is the reason I sold my 19”

I daily on 26psi ~640whp on 255/40/18 federal 595 RS-RR, it holds it pretty well (spins second, won’t spin third). The noise does get annoying though, but for a cheap tire I don’t mind it. Kill mode = 33psi 700+whp on MT ET Street R 275/45-17 on Kosei K1’s, holds it great at my well-prepped track and decent on the road (hooks second if they’re warm). The street R is significantly better than the street s/s but wears out much quicker.

I daily the same as noorj, federal 595s, same size. Mine doesnt spin, antilag 33lbs in 2nd, she dead hooks and goes. Yeah theres tire noise, but you get use to it after a while its not even there. Especially if your cars running poly mounts, etc. The price of tire vs the quality is pretty damn good.

So much so, i don't even use my 17" et street r anymore.

That’s impressive! Maybe mine were better when they were brand new, but I was on MMP’s back then
