Hi, been following you here because I will eventually be looking to do the same to my Z, do you plan on offering these to members as a kit?
Hello..yes both versions will be offered as kits..

The most basic kit will be the bracket and the associated bolts / nuts / spacers

There will be a second option to include the modified caliper carrier (this requires some basic machining , which not everyone will feel happy about doing)

I will offer full turn key kits but for most I suspect they will want to source their calipers and discs and maybe dust shields from their favourite sources…Aldo shipping / customs may render offering a full kit not economical viable..

On calipers and discs there is a wide variation in cost depending on your preferences…new/old/OE/OEM and discs, slotted , perforated, tier 1 etc etc

There will be full documentation on the matter..a draft which is work in progress is here…. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qscy...ey=sg0iqvtgmsi100tti9mvjfnoa&st=3thte6hu&dl=0

Rebuilding the M5 rear calipers about to be fitted to my 35is with 370mm discs..decided to do the whole job in-house…fresh seals, pistons, and motor assembly..

For those vaguely interested in how the electronic parking brake aka electromechanical parking brake (EMF) works..here’s some pics of the parts..

So a geared electric motor drives a jackscrew attached to a metal puck that sits inside the piston of a standard sliding caliper disc brake..the screw goes through the outside wall of the caliper via a seal to the motor..there’s some needle roller thrust bearings to take the strain..when the ’handbrake’ is applied an ECU drives the jackscrew forward pushing the piston against the pads..it senses when the current starts to rise indicating that the piston has travelled about as far as it can..it then stops..the ECU receives signals from the DSC to tell what temp it is at..that determines when and how frequently it retightens the jackscrew..in addition the DSC checks to see if the car starts to roll in which case it commands the parking brake ECU to re-apply force…because the motor drives through a planetary gear arrangement the position is locked when power is removed..so no need for constant electrical current..simples !
