XClutch Twin Disk - Group Buy Feeler

I'm over 500 miles on the Organic clutch. The pedal gets softer every time I drive it. It's like a stock clutch, and has only gotten easier to take off/launch with the miles. Its much smoother now, but still grabs the next gear hard when WOT. Overall I'm beyond happy with the way this clutch drives.

Safe to say non of you will be disappointed with the pedal feel and engagement. I have been daily driving it since install and now its just a breeze.

Edit: Forgot to talk about the noise. There is chatter at idle, even with it set at 900 rpm. When pressed in the clutch doesn't chatter but it sounds like a table saw is on. lol This isn't a deterring factor for me, and just a trade off I can live with.

I would say the chatter is about the same as any other smfw.
Driving experience is amazing compared to 3+. Spec is doable to me, but gets tiring after a while. Especially in traffic.


This captures the sounds pretty good. It is very exaggerated on video compared to in person. Perhaps in person the exhaust rumble drowns it out a bit more.

Single 3” mid section with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator then splits at the diff to dual 3” to the tips.

This is my car with a MFactory SMFW. Honestly, this twin disc seems like it's much quieter! I get noise when the clutch pedal isn't touched, when I depress the pedal the noise goes away.

I have Spec 3+ and SMFW now, it sounds almost the same as my 335is/550i clutch in the video above.

Just to roll up the outstanding questions here:

• When are we expecting delivery? Jan 29, 2019 @C_Meadows said he expected mid-March arrival. We are obviously past that.
• Also can Chris Meadows tell us how accurately they balance the flywheel and pressure plate? Feb 23, 2019.
• Finally, actual pricing based on the original Nov 13, 2018 quote, including freight and exchange rate, as you and Chris noted.
