I'm currently on stock exhaust with a catless downpipe, the tone is decent considering its a single turbo mated to the factory hardware. I'm planning on running a single, 3.5" downpipe all the way back to the rear differential and splitting into two 3" dual mode mufflers. I like having the ability to be quiet and subtle, but also have the itch to be fast and noisy, which is why I got the special mufflers.

For those of you with twins and big single, what are you running and how do you honestly like the way it sounds?

Single turbo, 3" downpipe, stock piping, secondary cat delete with vibrant resonators, E90 resonator delete with X pipe, and PE mod done to stock mufflers. Love it, have thought about maybe doing 3.5" from the DP back, not sure.

I don't quite follow...

The muffler design is different obviously, its dual mode. But the rest of the design, single pipe back splitting near the diff is similar to what I want.

Dual mode, meaning it has one straight through outlet and one muffled outlet. I merge both into one exit so a stock diffuser can be used. I should be able to use the vacuum source in the back of the car and a wireless relay programmed to my homelink to switch from straight pipe to muffled. In the pic below it mentions a flow intensifier, but that will be replaced with the flapper valve.

And here is a pic of the muffler with a wg, but I've switched to a flapper instead as I've mentioned.

Well the good thing is you can see who did it. At least @Jeffman didn't use the dumb rating. Maybe he just didn't care for it or pushed it on accident. That happens sometimes.

3" DP y'd to CPE dual 2.5" all the way back (resonators added). Still debating if want to swap to a single pipe at some point. If I do I'll swap to a 328 diffuser.

3in dps with muffler delete, sounds amazing to me and the drone/rasp is minimal compared to cars I've driven in the past.
