I got these part numbers for the pad sensors, these are supposed to work:
34356789440 / 34356789445
34356789440 / 34356789445

So what is the difference between the sensors our car comes with and these? The ones on my car had low miles; I just clipped them on the new pads.
Which "these"? The ones you listed look like they'll work; the ones that came w/ the kit have different plug ends for the F series. Just saying you might not need to buy sensors.
Okay, the plan is to have my calipers powder coated since they got dinged up in transit to get machined.
Dust Boots:
34116850935 - Front
34216877363 - Rear - Supersedes: 34216857153
The Brembo part number on the front dust boot is: 20.4872.46 which corresponds to a 40mm piston seal, which has the Brembo part number: BRE-105722446. And the rear boots are 20.4872.48 according to FF which is a 44mm piston seal and has the part number BRE-105722448.
The front calipers require 4 dust boots each at $28 per set. The rear calipers use two dust boots each, so that is ~$84. There are a total of 12 piston seals, at $16 each we are at $276. Now I need to pay to powder coat them and have them torn down, rebuilt and shipped back and forth. So instead of spending money on all of that, I'm opting for a $13 bottle of Phoenix Gold #445 touch up paint and I'll hold off on the powder coating until my calipers are grimey at least, and perhaps chipped a bit more. As much as bright yellow or lime green calipers may sound, for ~$900+ I will just pretend they are a different color.
Ouch! That sucks. Once they're touched up though you'll be the only one that knows without pulling the wheel and doing a up close inspection. You must be singleturbovert, Lol.
Hey man, just jumped on this forum, glad to see you guys here. It works fantastic and the machine work is top notch. I opted for 11.5mm based on feedback from the guys that first had this done. 12mm is good, 11.5 just makes it a bit easier without really compromising the strength of the mounting tab. I would imagine there's a mm or so of variation from car to car anyways. I've pointed several people in your direction. Hell, I even offered to let them ship them to me and take them to the shop and send them back but now that I see that you offer shipping as well that makes it a no brainer.
Right. The E60 have a 3mm difference in the offset compared to the F30 rotors. At least you don't need to send them back to have three more mm machined off.Okay, so I'm mounting these up right now. One thing I have overlooked, is that when using the E60 rotors, you actually want to take 3mm less material off. So I suppose you'd want 8.5-9mm machine off the caliper instead of 11.5-12mm when using the E60 rotor. So now I have to put some washers in to get the caliper centered on the rotor.

Ideally, that's a better solution but I don't know the cost on that. Too much and it loses it attraction as a low cost BBK upgrade like ECS Tuning's. Great execution, prohibitive cost.Very true. Particularly so because fab factory is currently closed down. Is there someone else who can perform this machining? The only other option would be to have @EOSpeed machine the ears down and use their brackets instead, some may say a better solution.
Great thread. I came across while looking for info on my upcoming retrofit of the Mperformance front 370mm calipers. Maybe i missed it, but i cant find any info about front dustshields, are the F30 dustshields bolt on fitment, maybe drill one or two additional holes ? They seem like they have a larger scoop to funnel more air onto the caliper for better cooling over the e9x ones maybe?
This thread is the most up to date in terms of 'how' you go about the F30 brakes (front and rear): https://bmw.spoolstreet.com/threads/diy-f30-m-performance-brakes-on-e90-e92-e93-guide.2941/
F30 dust shields go on with little issue, one more hole... However I do not recommend it. I've beat myself on the head trying to figure out where a scraping noise is coming from. It may be the result of my M3 rack conversion, but unless you want to hear scraping sounds(then have to pull the calipers in order to remove) I'd just leave them off.
Thanks for the info, i need to have dust shields installed to pass inspections, and I'm too lazy to take them on and off for that! ill order some up and hopefully they fit with no scraping issues
