Yes i amAre you retaining the OEM shifter for the 4L80E? I ask that question after looking at the photos.
Omar, I will be interested to see how you get the OEM shifter to work with the 4L80E transmission. Please keep us updated on how it is done.Yes i am

What other suspension mods do you have? Stock non-sport springs? I'm gonna go with mustang drag shocks so that I don't have ti wait on an adapter for the Strange shocks, but finding the info for the rest of a good drag suspension is hard to do. I'm thinking spherical lower rear shock mount + M3 arms in back, nonsport springs (maybe even XI) but I'm not sure. I know these cars don't like to squat thoughGot the small brakes on from @AD-ENG .. shout out to him also drag shocks from him , weld rts’s are on and so are the mickeys

That is fair enough but the OEM shifter doesn't have 1, 2 or 3 only D so how do you intend to use the shifter?thread the end of the rod on the stock shifter linkage to 5mm and using andys adapter
Pretty sure the trans is controlled by a separate box. That is fair enough but the OEM shifter doesn't have 1, 2 or 3 only D so how do you intend to use the shifter?
Hmm, maybe it's cause I'm in an e92 that has H&R race springs still from when I bought it, but compared to my LS3 Camaro that'd squat like an Instagram model, I don't even get close to the launch I want right now. I'm hoping with the drag shocks and OE rear springs it'll drastically improve, but I was considering keeping something at least a little stiffer than at least non-sport front springs in order to help "pre-load" the back. Seems a lot of the FB crowd who are serious about the strip swap to 328i front springs but I have a feeling being overly soft up front would be just as detrimental as overly stiff elsewhere. I don't want to bob and bounce after the launch either.ST coilovers up front with st springs in rear.. keeping it that way until i can get stock msport suspension for the front again...infact these cars love to squat, irs cars in general do. special alignment will be needed, dont need fancy controls lol
