I caved in couldn't wait.. So i drove down to CTS and bought some turbos. I just need them for this summer.
Rob's was taking a little to long and with me changing careers didn't want to dump money on the single setup i want at this exact moment.
Are the CTS a gap filler for you or did you cancel your RB's?

You need to start applying as a beta tester for various twin turbos. I'm sure Franken would've gave you a set of the same turbos
😂Their shops 15 minutes from my house. I made it clear that if these fail they’ll see me again. Also I had issues with a certain turbo company and they got swept under the rug by the owner, that played a big role in deterring me from them.

I’ll be having my name taken of the waitlist for Gamefinishers. These are a gap filler for the single kit I will be getting.

It has arrived!

Now when to get them on. Lol

And no..... they do not arrive thrown in like that. Each turbo is sealed in its own padded box inside a box.

I'll post a separate thread of individual bits later.

you have to select td04 under 335i. Just double checked. Also those outlets, look like nice pieces
Ooooohhhhh..... not for the e60s. I wonder why?

Well, for my grocery hauler rb ones will do.

Yeah, It is all quality. I'll post up separate pics later today.

Ah yes. I recall now issues with single turbo setups and having that being relocated or removed.

e60 isn't as friendly to mods as the e90.
lmao the e60 is a pain to modify, Curious what intercooler and downpipes your using? Also Curious to see if you have overboost issues on a ots map. Are you going with a Ethanol blend for fuel or just pump gas.

I have the big vrsf race intercooler. vrsf catless dps. I was running the mhd e30 map with no issues with the stock turbos.

Rob says can't use ots maps on the RB ones.

I'll get tuned for pump and e30 for now. I've got to do alot more to run higher ethanol content. However with the RB ones I may not. I'll see how the car runs after I get everything dialed in.

Oh sorry i thought you had gone with the OEM billets. Happy you went with the ones, as long as your lpfp is new you shouldn't have a issue with e50.
Does your rear turbo downpipe also have that notch in it for clearance.
