Marty.. the NERD from down under. Its a straight bolt up, electronics wouldn't be hard for someone like Tom from jpl, pretty sure he done it already on a customers car.
Yeah apparently the MSS60 has no issue driving the S85, and has all the DCT stuff already baked in. Definitely a couple of them around. If my S65 ever meets its demise I'm definitely putting an S85 in my car.Its a straight bolt up, electronics wouldn't be hard for someone like Tom from jpl, pretty sure he done it already on a customers car.
Yeah, and the oil pan needs to be modified to fit around the steering rack but making it fit isn't really an issue, as long as the electronics work. Not that easy to put a s85 in, the subframe is completely different than s65 and doesn't bolt up to our cars
But why not the M5. Then you can stick you homies in the back with comfort. It will be much cheaper and better to get a hard top m6 and stick a dct in that than trying to massage it all into a 135, engine is just to heavy and the wheelbase to small for a v10.
It would handle like shit unless all you want to do is drift and it would be a handfull at the best of times.
But it is the sweetest sounding engine to date from BMW.
By any chance do you have a picture of how you set that up?Mini Cooper washers and cut the plugs of and solder the bmw plugs back on
