Hello, i am ronald and i have installed Syvics S7+ on 335i N54>Can i ask u if i caan get the base map from u too please
Regards Ron
Syvecs supply a base map for the stock car with the ecu. If you didn't receive that when you purchased it you should ask for it.
If you purchased it second hand you should ask the previous owner for the base map he received.

There have been revisions to the "base" map over time so your best place to start is the Syvecs dealer / tuner you are working with.

Wish we would still get some updates about people hopping on Syvecs, but seems like that's died off a bit over the last couple years.

I only know one guy and his tuner didn't have the skill set to tune it properly.

These are really complicated to do tune properly and I only know of one that can and tuning is 2.5k but can escalate quickly depending on what you want done as these are fully customisable.

Syvecs is not user friendly.

If you have out grown mhd and jb4 reflex etc you do not want or need direct injection anyway.

Syvecs is not a good option in my opinion. Just open up the software and see how un user friendly it is.

There are plenty of good ecu options out there:
EMU
Maxx Ecu
Haltech
Fuel Tech
Motec
Link
Emtron

n54 on a standalone is a pretty small market already (with or without DI), and Syvces are a specialized supplier themselves, so not really surprising the internet reporting has died off.

Only regrets I have regards syvecs is that if I knew I was going to ditch DI I could have saved some $ by not buying the DI driver, and the car would be easier to sell on with something like motec (if i didnt try and part out) here in Aus just because every man and his dog is comfortable with motec here.

Active on the internet I've only found riceracing.com.au who specializes in tuning syvecs software within Aus.
I tuned it myself and that process might have been a little faster on another ecu package.

Syvecs on a 1M stage 2 pure turbos and supporting mods for 2yrs. Never missed a beat and gets better with constant refinements as I have time to log/analyse/learn.

I was running stock ecu and Bootmod custom tune but got sick of the constant ecu faults and codes so sacked it. You’ll need a lot of experience and knowledge of the syvecs platform to get the best out of it. My drivability is buttery smooth, start up perfect, low speed manners impeccable, AFR control superb. On boost the car a beast for a street car. Knock and traction systems are amazing. I run 22psi on 98RON 26psi on E80 with full flex fuel mapping. Full secondary port control is quite easy but control of stock DI pump is tricky and the base map is not good. Need a fair amount of PID tuning for it to be stable. Also, base map boost closed loop map needs work but once setup it really is very good indeed. All sorts of custom maps and limp failsafes possible that have saved me many times and it’s important to set these up first! Rolling anti lag and normal anti lag easy to set up. Flat shift great for holding boost between changes, launch is amazing (but complex to understand and set up). I also have and EGT probe is each bank that can reduce timing reduction strategies during torque control if temps get too high.

I also have their GPS/MRU primarily for use with their lap analysis software and this also feeds the ecu live G’s and all the other parameters. I use yaw mapped against traction and speed for Traction Control. You can also use GPS as a ground speed ref for traction but usually only needed for drag cars that lift their front wheels off the ground. 12 Cal positions integrated into the cruise up/downfor any combination of boost curve/traction set up/Anti-lag, fuel and timing mods etc etc. cruise still works and you map how it works. Integrates with CAN quite well. t is extremely powerful and still retains all of the features from its Life Racing Motorsport roots (used in top level professional motorsports, Syvecs are the road going branch of LR). No licences or locked out shit. It has amazing closed loop lambda tuning capability (and it does need some tuning). Only additional option is full air shift sequential that needs a flag enabling (few hundred). Suggest if you are not going to get your own hands dirty refining the base map you go with a dealer who can help you.

One grip I have is you can’t reset the service flag without plugging back in the stock ECU but not a big deal.

I also run syvecs in a gt25-660 heavily modded 3cyl GR Yaris and it’s awesome.

Not for everyone, is expensive and a steep learning curve but I have enjoyed the learning.

Bootmod3 on an N54 huh? You know that doesn't exist right? Is the rest of your post bullshit too? Lol

Apologies I meant MHD tuned by Fabian/Pureboost…too many cars…I had my N55 in mind when I wrote. No the rest of the post is not bullshit. No need to be a knob about it.
