Surprisingly they are still alive))))my friend has the 3x and it has cracked the vacuum pump, he installed the bracket 2 days ago and its been running good for the past 2 days with no issues. Hitting 30 psi on stock turbos how long will the turbos last you ask ?? we will have to wait and see
A lot of build-up for moderate sub 600 numbers, and a misfiring car that has enough fueling on it for 1000+WHP... For comparison here is E70 with nothing but a single barrel, LPFP upgrade, and GC Lites... If you cannot run more than 22 psi without misfiring why even put the car on the dyno?
My "1000WHP" portion of the post was simply referring to they have headroom for a LOT of fuel so that should not be an issue, Helix 4X, and a full methanol injection system. You can add a lot of fuel with a methanol system. 100% agree anyone that thinks it's easy to make consistent power on an N54 over 750WHp has never tried it.Everyone thinks their N54 makes 1000whp until they strap it to a dyno lol Shit takes a lot of work.

We just wanted to see what we will make but 22 psi was only on the high rpms we were on 29 psi on mid range . The car was doing great but in a morning of dyno we did a test run and it missfired so we lowered the boost on high rpm and it worked. We just tested it out just to see what the dynamic autowerx stage 2 turbos can do mostly and helix was secondary. It was fun. Were going back as soon as we find what's wrongA lot of build-up for moderate sub 600 numbers, and a misfiring car that has enough fueling on it for 1000+WHP... I got you bro. I understand. think we solved the issue. I didnt ground the wires correctly on the dme side. So I made sure everything was perfect and tried to do a pull and also ran without methanol but with less boost. We also fixed the leaking injector the same time. Did a test run and it didnt missfire. I was super excited. In the morning today I tried again but connected the meth back up and did another pulls. Doesnt missfire. So I think it was the incorrect ground that I did. Will do more tests to see and then go back to dyno againGlad your happy with your result but as stated its very low even on a stock engine and that is what others are trying to say.
Here with a double barrel but easily done on single shotgun and a stage 2.5 single 295 lpfp we are making around 630rwhp on e15
so its not a stellar result and you need to figure out where your setup is falling short.
no one is boasting of their achievements but trying to help you and show you that you can do better as there is much more left in it.
We’ve made 650 on the VTT stage 2+ and stopped only because the customer wanted to stay there. There was more room left on that turbo for sure.I hate to be a naysayer or rain on anyone's parade, but I dont think any stage 2 hybrid turbos - new vendor and product or old - is going to make 690whp regardless of fueling.

Only had a stage 3 lpfp and a helix and was running an e50 mix.Can I ask what fueling modification he had to get there? Im Looking for the same powergoals on ST kit.
If anyone is keeping tally, add me to the list. It happened to me with the 3x. Broke the vacuum pump cover the first time and then installed the billet cover.

Now I'm leaking oil again and in the shop to determine the failure - it's either the cover or actual vacuum pump. I'll report back once I find out (in the new year).
I also purchased the bracket from GDO Automotive and will install once the current issue is fixed.
Just following up and reporting back .... I did have a cracked vacuum pump housing with the 3x (this after the cracked cover). Spool stepped up and provided a support bracket (and the billet cover previously). Now installed and tuning once again. No issues so far. Will report back on performace once tuning progresses.
Fyi .... I've got an extra GDO Bracket if anyone is interested that I didn't use since Spool provided me a solution.
How did your brakes feel with the cracked housing?
Same story with @Slow335is only noticed it because there was oil leaking from the plateHad no issues with brakes when my housing was cracked. I probably drove a week or so (daily) with a cracked housing and no noticable problems ..... just oil leaking.
