I have an s366 on another bim, and think about tossing it on all the time lol. It will be a bit tight but should fit, my s257 is a bit smaller but still larger than the Garret's etc.. everything fits, only grudge is acces to the feed from the block is kinda ehh due to the big BW hotside.

My kit is being built, S366
Shooting for whatever the hell I need to win.

I'm really anxious. I haven't seen any installed pics of the 366 and from all I read they are large physically. I just really hope it fits well.

Flash only, Boost Box (4 port) and VTT DBBL.

This is a 362

So it's gonna be tight.

I'll have to make up some added under protection.
I'm still going to ice race with it. Just too fun not to.

I'm running the GFB GeForce 3 with mine using a PTE 6266 Gen 2 BB. Works great!! I still have yet to setup the UEGO AFR failsafe with it. Using the Black/Red spring (10.12#) with a 4 port MAC.

Anyone using the GFB III controller with this kit? any issues?

I´m not so familiar with the GFB controller, is it standalone or only reduce the boost value that comes from the ECU?

With this setup, the DME no longer controls boost. It’s a stand-alone boost controller that enables you to have up to 6 boost settings on the fly. It interfaces with the MAC solenoid and modulates the EWG to reach desired boost, duty cycle, gain, and sensitivity. It has features like global boost limit, scramble boost mode via push button/pedal actuation from low boost to high boost and an AFR safety that lowers the boost back to spring pressure once it detects a lean condition per your AFR preset. The DME will then control AFR, timing, etc.

Nice... i just picked up a used GFB 3 with wideband. I wanted to just run WG...however this far in the build... might as well just get it and get it over with. I'll be running the 6266 JB. targeting 26-30psi... built motor

Nice! Even at 20, a blast to drive. I have yet to rebuild my old one. Still sitting in the garage pending a tear down. I’m also waiting on that 4x OD kit from Spool Performance.

When will you have updates. My friend is selling this turbo and im considering buying it. More concerned with it being too big for my power goals.

Also, if you go to the site to see all the turbo options youll notice the 366 is listed and that means it fits. I inquired about efr turbos and the reason they arent on the site is because they dont fit lol. So if you see it on the site youre safe.:sunglasses:

S362s and 364s will spool considerably faster than an s366. If your on pump gas I recommend the s257, hoping between my car and the 2j/s366 car mine is considerably more responsive and has better transient feel. The s366 on a 3.0l is a bit of a light switch. I have one on my 3.7l m30 and might go smaller, but I'm limited to pump gas.

Hi everybody!

In the process of finalizing the installation of my kit. Ran into a small issue with the wastegate divider on the manifold coming in contact with the WG valve.

Has anybody ever run into this issue? Jeff had suggested shaving down the divider just enough to clear the WG valve. Something with his cast vendor dropping the ball on the tolderances on the manifold.

I have wondered about this before. If someone could tell us the correct measurement, it could save someone some annoyance later. Did it make any funny noises like the wg was cracking open?

Some background on this - it turns out the Gen 5 Turbosmart Hypergates have a valve update, in which the flat area is removed, so it protrudes closer to the manifold divider. We checked the parts we have here, and they still have clearance, but it is tight, so we'll be sure to add this to our QA checks on all future kits. This does not affect Tials or the Gen 4 Turbosmart.

Good find. Will you be modifying your manifold to fit Gen5 gates? Or just not offer the Gen5 gate?
