Here's the water pump/lines clearance with the pump/thermostat in the speedtech shifted positioning. The pump inlet hose just touches the compressor housing, but is not forced into position. I'll plug that boost port at the contact point and just pull a boost signal from my charge pipešŸ‘ I feel fitment against the compressor cover here is tight, but acceptable.

Boy that water pump outlet line is going to be tight though. TBD if I'll need to further shift the water pump to clear whatever I work our for the turbo inlet...

You can see the aluminum midnight Motorsports inlet - disregard the long length that doesn't line up, that will get trimmed back quite a bit. Plan A is to use it as a hose barb for a 3" silicone connection.

Small update. A couple months back,
I trimmed the midnight inlet down and rolled a bead on to make in into a silicone tube connector. I was able to cobble together a silicone inlet prototype, but I'd need to get a new elbow and re-trim for better fitment.

Honestly, I'm not sure I like this inlet, I'm worried it may collapse under vacuum if I connect to the full stock air ducting. Plus, I think it may need to route in towards the block more for the turbo outlet tube to clear between the inlet and and the frame rail on the way down to the intercooler inlet.

I decided to scan the mock-up so I can design my own inlet to fit. Will probably still plumb to the stock air duct, but am also considering designing a shorty hot side inlet incorporating the MAF sensor.
