I feel like I've seen posts of people doing that, but I didn't pay too close attention because I have my Dorch stage 2. I'm gonna go with a solid maybe??@wheela Do you know by any chance if you can use a B58tu hpfp on a N55
Thank you!!!Hellllllllllo. Congrats. She’s beautiful.
So the Boost solenoid that’s bolted to the cold side, are you going to Control that through the DME?
Hmm, it wasn't working? That's discouraging to hear. He was f-chassis X3, but that's one of those in-betweener models that still had the e-chassis style pneumatic wastegate. Wish me luck, if the valve doesn't work I'll have to figure out plan B.Sounds good. Just a heads up I tried to do the same thing hardparker did, but it did not work for me.
But I don’t have the know how that you do so maybe you can figure it out.
Was hard Parker an F series car?
Nothing really, It's Still just FBO, Intake, turbo inlet, down pipe, charge pipe, on a Mhd Stage 2 e40 tune. It's quick enough for now, in the spring i will be spicing it up. Looking for a set of wheels has also been a pain, They should of stuck with 5x120 instead of switching to 5x112@SLOWESTN54 What's new with the m340i?
Thanks for asking No major updates, but did pick up some small updates odds and ends for the mock-up and eventual install:Sooooo @wheela update us
Ayeee we love to see the progress. I gotta come see this in person soon. Haven’t been in MN as often lately. Thanks for asking No major updates, but did pick up some small updates odds and ends for the mock-up and eventual install:
-ebay water pump & t-stat for fit-up
-full-race inconel T4 gasket
-full-race inconel stud kit for T4 turbo
-efr 3" v-band clamp
-fresh manifold studs & copper nuts
I'm excited to get some spare time to start putting parts on the mock-up block and working out my inlet and water pump placement
Also going to have to bite the bullet soon and start self-tuning on my stock turbo to get comfortable with it before setting up a base map for this kit and trying to tune that. Good thing I've got some vacation time set up over the next few months...
Did you nail down a set of rims for the m340?
Thanks! Yeah, it should be pretty fun working out my specific customizations I'm getting pretty antsy to get it finished up.Awesome to see everything coming together for you Wheela! Even though it is a pain in the ass to install everything I think that's part of the fun. Hope you are up and running in the near future I am excited to see your setup running!
