Lifetime warranty on these Bosch O2 sensors. You can use two front sensors, the only difference between front and rear is the length. And the front ones are the long ones. So $90 each and you get free replacements for life... I've already used the warranty once.

It would be nice to know how hot your O2's are running. While I haven't tested this myself, it is theoretically possible to use the Ri internal resistance of the O2 sensors to calculate temperature. In INPA you can see the Ri in ohms under F5 -> F2 -> F6. Make sure you're looking at the pre-cat O2's. Do some WOT pulls and see what you get near the end of the pull.

Except I've had 4 of those which were duds on arrival. Function / temperature codes and lean AFRs right out of the box.

I'm starting to not trust FCP euro for parts.

I ended up ordering these venturi O2 heat sinks. They have nifty internal machined passages that draw the exhaust gas into the main chamber where the sensor is connected, then back out through the top port into the manifold. Installed last night and while it's a PITA to get this piece indexed right (side port needs to be pointed directly into the exhaust stream), it seems to be working great for now.

Let's see how long the oem sensors last when set up like this lol

Side note, what I bought looks pretty similar to what Motiv has in their manifold (also advertised as a venturi, and claimed to extend sensor life on their website). Can anyone with a Motiv kit chime on how long your sensors last?

Just an FYI, INPA is configured via XML and different people will have different options for the quick keys. I've probably seen 5-6 different configurations myself. So quoting the quick keys isn't a surefire way of explaining how to do something in INPA to someone. Use the full description of the function screens. Even those can be modified, but I find there is less variability there as most people don't modify those values.

But really interesting chart on resistance to temp ... I like it. I will be looking at that once I do some tuning with @V8bait.

If anyone was interested Amazon has these for $70 for a non warrantied unbranded version and $80 for the full Bosch branded part. And if you are a prime member you get better shipping options if you are in a bind and need it *now*. Also the Bosch branded part can have a 2y unlimited warranty added for $12. Just another option for us to be aware of:

Keep us posted on these heat sinks, please. I've been looking at them, as well.

I replaced bank 2 sensor with an NTK when it started throwing codes. Afrs consistently read higher than the OEM in bank 1; I believe due to the NTK having a slight variation in voltage output. This also seemed to skew STFT. Long story short, the original code came from the downstream bank 2 sensor (which I replaced to no avail). I had it coded out, put OEM back into upstream bank 2; afr's and STFT have been spot on ever since (~500 miles).

Bought the kit from the first batch they made 3 years ago I think. Maybe 3-5k miles

I replaced my o2 sensors with a new set of bosch from FCP when I installed my single turbo kit. I'm 7 months in and 12k miles with no issues to report. E85 for 95% of those miles. No o2 heat sinks or anything. I daily my car.

What kit did you go with?

Also I don't doubt FCP can get it right, but they also get it wrong. Right now bank 1 precat O2 is from FCP, and bank 2 is from amazon. Both exact same PN from Bosch except the one from FCP failed out of the box.

Same thing happened to my friend and they almost denied his warranty on them because they said there was no way they would have injectors from 2015 still in stock. I called them when he told me what was going on to make sure I didn't go through the same thing if and when I need to exchange mine.

I don't believe it's a pressure issue as the ADV sensors have the same exhaust gas pressure rating as the original Bosch LSU 4.9 (≤2.5 bar).

How could you tell what year the injector was made? I had a similar issue where I bought injectors before the price went up and at first they only wanted to refund me the original price not the new much higher price for a lifetime replacement order.

The 6 digit number that would be vertical if the injector was facing the right way. YYMMDD so 2015/august/28 production date.

In the manifold, I would go ADV 100%. Bosch/NTK just can't handle the heat and pressure. Regardless of which you use, the DME lambda pressure compensation tables should be used. Chris did the calibration for these tables for the ADV against a standalone wideband.

Anyone care to elaborate as to why some of us find these just aren't compatible? That was what was most frustrating about my ordeal with the ADV sensors -- zero explanation as to why my expensive sensors didn't work.
