Yes its not a true stainless woven hose. It only has light metal braiding to stiffen the hose. Stainless won't melt through.

Pro-tip - stainless is also non-magnetic.

Stainless braided line isn't 100% stainless, the inside of the line is still conventional materials. You can still burn through it, it's not that difficult really.
