I can take some pictures tonight if I remember.
Where do you run the bottom hose on that tank? I've seen it routed to a T on the heater core return which is neat but I think most people run it all the way back across to the passenger side. To me, it seems like thats kind of a mess of hoses running back and forth?
EDIT: I think its @The Convert that runs the hose locally to the heater core hose, the only way I'd do that mod IMO.
I forgot to add these. First pic shows the tee into the heater hose and a union in the line running to the heater hose. The line is the same hose from when the tank was on the passenger side, just cut and rotated.
the second image shows the connection to the tank. The tank connection may have had to have the groove for the alignment tab oversized on one side to fit...can’t remember if that was this fitting or the 90 degree fitting I used to eliminate the tee fitting at the water pump.

335d front snorkel. gotta get both pieces and trim/shave down #21 accordingly

I'm getting ready to relocate my coolant tank and will utilize the 335d tank. I'm still a little confused as to what hose will make it the easiest to do this. Did you ever figure out a good fix?
