So anyone who knows anything about BMWs, will read that title and instantly assume I’m insane. And it’s come to the point where I have a real problem. Engine and gearbox are mounted in the shell happily with clearance. Manifold is built and tacked just needs to be removed and welded on the bench, turbo is happy were she sits, have a good understanding of what I’m going to do radiator intercooler etc wise. My problem is. Fuel. Quite a necessary piece of the puzzle. I ordered an ecu conversion kit for the n54 to e46 so the n54 plugs and play essentially, had it started in the car previously before single turbo started as the twin turbos didn’t fit with the steering rack, even a custom steering rack didn’t work. So ant steering says most people seem to just run the stock e46 pump however a quick google search says the n54 requires 71 psi and the e46 only makes 52 psi. How do I get the n54s original fuel pump speak to the ecu and use its pulse width modulation to control the fuel pressure through the e46 loom or what do have to splice into on the ecu or loom I bought from ant_steering_electronics. Any diagrams etc would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading.

See if you can talk to Evolution Of Speed and get an EOS BPM4. I believe you can use it to control your LPFP as a pseudo standalone fuel controller. confirm with them.

The truly simplest method would be to just run a walbro 535 at 100% dc with a supplementary walbro 525 on a hobbs switch. Both of course having their own relay. If you're running on ethanol that's what I would do as a full e85 blend on single turbo will easily run into pump limits, provided you have enough high pressure pump.

Though if you're using the N54 MSD80/81 dme, then I believe you can hookup the ptcan wires to the stock ekp and run the pump just fine like that. Attached is the wiring diagram for the stock N54 fuel pump module (ekp). The green/red is just the ignition 12v wakeup line

If you're just on regular gasoline, then a single walbro 535 will do just fine
