This is my e60 535i and my fathers E71 X6M in matching paint. My E60 has FBO's, with inlets and RB billet wheel stock turbos running on a E50 mix. Its stock other then that. The X6M has a set of downpipes with a VF engineering stage 2 tune.

Edit: Want to add my new favorite change Coral Red Interior. Came out great made me love the car that much more. Originally car had a complete black interior. View attachment 63085

6MT swapped with an organic twin plate clutch, but still running the stock turbos atm.

Currently tidying up the engine bay. Needs an LSD and some top mount goodness - I think a G30-770 or 900 may be the go, as its a street car and I don't want to chase any particular numbers/times.

I'd love to slightly widen the fenders such that they're similar to the E9x M3, get a closed door respray in BMW Individual Brilliant White, run a less stancy rear alignment and get a bit more serious with tyre choice. The car currently has about -3* camber up front and close to -4* rear, with some slightly stretched Advan V105 tyres. The rear setup is definitely far from ideal for a stock body non-M lol.

What a fine example of a e92. Clean car :)

Bought from a Mercedes dealer outside of Austin with 23k miles. Couldn't sell a yellow manual convertible on a used Mercedes lot. Rare car, mint as new, and was as a $$$ deal. Shipped it up to VA.

Lots of work done over the years. It's still a work very much in progress. The final major set of power upgrades are sitting on the shelf waiting for a bunch of work to get done. Made lots of new friends, rekindled acquaintances - definitely the best part of all of it. This is a car that I own, and I did a lot of the work, but it was built by a community of people that helped in many ways.

Funny how these cars become the basis for friendships. A few years back a guy in the south wrote me, sent me a photo of an Atacama Yellow Z4 and said he bought it based my build thread. We became friends over the years. It was his first BMW. He now daily tows (!!!) with an E70 X5 35d. He's a drag race guy by background. Ford Mustangs. So what's he doing with the Z4, after building it as a down single turbo?

Ford Coyote V8, T56 Magnum trans (though he's thinking about DCT), 8.8 Ford rear. Don't know that I've seen anyone do such a swap on a Z4.

That's sick!

I've thought about swapping mine also, but I think I'll either leave it as is (fast enough for the street) seeing that it's not a dedicated monster (most I'll do is do a bottom mount single and lsd) and pick up either a g80 m3 or 992 911. I'm torn, but in no rush really.
I'm surrounded by 800 + whp rs3s and a 900+ ttrs that eats EVERYTHING. That being said I get my supersonic speed fix from the four ring bros and would like to focus more on a track (circuit) oriented setup/car.

What you need is a Xdrive B58 car. With a big turbo of choice :)
