I'm from South Jersey, the cherry hill area but I'm stationed in Missouri right nowGreat job so far. Def going to keep my eye on this one since there are limited On3 users on this platform. I found your youtube video, just curious where in NJ you are located?

Nice work my kit should be coming in any day now same setup as you Im thinking 20psi should make 500 ? What wastegate spring are you running ? Pics of the coolant tank relocation?Car drives fine I've just been trying to hold out, I was writing for the boost box to come out which it finally did but i ended up ordering jb4 the day before it came out...lol so I'm just going to hook up the jb4 and do some pulls to make sure there's no leaks or anything. Also the car sounds a lot different, in a good way
Crazy!! I'm actually from atco but didnt think you would know where that is lolSmall world. Grew up in Berlin, but moved to central NJ after college. Great job on the build. My brother and I are both passively looking at single and twin upgrades. Keep those videos coming!
Depends on fueling but 20psi should make more than that, im running the 13psi spring.Nice work my kit should be coming in any day now same setup as you Im thinking 20psi should make 500 ? What wastegate spring are you running ? Pics of the coolant tank relocation?
Any plans on dynoing ? Or track. I'm hoping to to squeeze 20 pounds out of my stock fuel system with a little e85Depends on fueling but 20psi should make more than that, im running the 13psi spring. View attachment 2078
That's my fear.
I had to put my car in the body shop, so I loaded the "Valet tune" that keeps the wastegates open 100%. On the drive home, I got to feel what a 325 feels like to drive on 100% motor. Until you do that once, you have no idea how much these small turbos actually do, and how low of RPM they start to work.
half a day?! are you sure about that? You are hitting on exactly all of my concerns. I really WANT a single turbo kit for the reliability, ease of maintenance or repair. Since I have an automatic, I cannot utilize 600+hp and a lot of what the single has to offer (performance wise) is wasted on me. Also, because of the automatic, I enjoy having the turbos do work in the driving/cruising RPM band where they can make commuting enjoyable without turning the motor 4-5-6K rpm constantly on the morning drive. I also am weary of relocating all of the reservoirs and vacuum lines to make room for the single. Some conversions look cobbled together.
Upgraded twins give me more of what I want (performance wise) with the risk that I will be changing turbos along with my oil, every few thousand miles. Even if they are covered under warranty (for the first year) who wants to spend half a day pulling the turbos, so that they can send them back to the manufacturer and hope that they get fixed/replace with no bullshit excuses? Car is out-of-order for two weeks as you patiently wait for joy of putting them back in, just to start the process all over again? The OEM turbos were good for 50k miles even though they were being over-spun for a decent amount of that time.

I am auto.. my turbo is 61mm (gt35) on3 has a smaller one also that'd spool quicker.. it's still fun to cruise around in. If your debate is upgraded twins or single I am 100% single.. twins don't even cross my mind as people seem to have too many issues..
spot on for the "out enjoying their cars part" lol. I really need to update this thread asap but as far as the low end power it was very weak before a tune. I hated it actually, but after getting my first revision the low end felt great even before the turbo started spooling. So at first I had the issue you were worried about but now its not an issue at all, a good tuner should be able to give you the low end power you need.I have been looking for dyno graphs from people that get PTE 6062's and similar sized turbos, but they never seem to post about them. The last thing you hear is that they are installing the kit and then nothing else. Some people say that the reason they are not posting is because they are out enjoying their cars, but you would think that SOME of them would eventually report about their results.
