I’m going for the Black DCT single turbo with three floor mats a factory glovebox 245 front tire trunk liner removed 1/2 mike standing start while smoking a Cuban cigar record.

Seriously - not really looking to break any records in the N54 community....for the M57, that's a different story all together.

It has mostly been said before, but enthusiasm about sharing something turns into a witch hunt when the release date is later than people expect. The difference even between getting something working in a vehicle to doing everything needed to turn it into a ready to release product is phenomenal. New Year encouragement to Jake, this is an incredibly ambitious project!

Very anxiously waiting for this. Unhooking my JB4 unleashed some real power and cleared up some issues. I cant wait for bluetooth and e85 on the fly. I absolutely love the advancements and new products for this platform in the last year.

I mean I have no idea how much more work they have to do but the tables I've played with are really effective, and I'm sure he found room after riding the ROM of multispark and excess tables (hopefully without issues)... maybe they are still working on encryption or inputs for flex fuel sensors? I wish I knew I'd help 'em get r done, platform ain't getting any younger.

Everything works great on it. Its just the encryption he's still working on which is keeping it from the market.

Working on or roadblock? It seems the encryption issue has been on the books for six months. Not criticizing but just wondering since mums been the word. There are some seriously bright minds around this platform, all who are getting older by the minute (and wiser!) lol

I sure hope it's soon. I've put 18k miles on my car in the year since this was announced, and have largely been waiting to do anything to the car until this comes out. I'd like to run E85 and E85blend as my daily with just stage 2 LPFP and FBO. Not looking for top power as I know I'll be limited by fueling, but just something 10-15% safety that can run daily without doing calculations and worrying about my blend. If it's not soon I may have to reconsider getting it as I won't own the car but another 2-2.5 years. It's really a shame that there are dishonest people out there that would steal the code and sell it as their own, it results in the honest people paying (in a long wait while encryption gets worked out).

I have the Flex Fuel product page on the Motiv site bookmarked and check it periodically to see if the status changes from "Sold Out". Well this morning it is gone completely giving a 404 error. Maybe that means they are updating the product page and its soon to be released? I sure hope so, a new Sheetz 1/8 mile from my work is opening next month and will make it the 4th station within a few miles that stocks E85.

I said some of the same things many pages ago and got criticized over it (looks like reality now huh). Glad it's not just me. You also bring up a valid point about the length of ownership related to price. Hard to justify a large price tag for a mod on a car with +130k and rising or like you said, if you plan to sell.
