Could you reupload or send me the guide? It's unavailable from your link and I'm looking for options to replace my ZF if it's busted.

DME swap
Wheel Speed Sensor swap
Lateral G Sensor swap

That should cover the missing pieces for a 2007.

I think there is a DSC bit as well? JBE? Also there is extra wiring, like paddle shifters and various little things are not done to the harness.

If someone does the swap and puts a full list together with the prices they paid, this could be a very tempting avenue. I love rowing gears, but I just am not a fan of my twin disc for easy driving.

I believe in this case you would used the m3 dsc

For what, the adjustable launch control? The dsc is only required in darricks case because the m3 szl is being used. And as I have suggested and at least one other person has claimed, the m3 szl isn't required . I can't tell you exactly which szl is required, but there are definitely more than one szl.

Yes I wouldn't swap over the DCT unless I had full control of everything. Since I'm 07 I'll have swap my dsc anyway so I figured it's best just to go
With the m3 one

Yea, I know the M3 SZL works. And I know *my* SZL didn't. But I have a feeling there are so many variants of SZL's that there will be some that work that are not the M3 variant.

The 335i dsc is actually a superior unit in some regard according to @Bimaxtremeretro so you have that to consider. Not to mention sometimes you have to trick the car into thinking it's an m3 in order to code them. I don't recall if that is the case here, but chances are the 335i stuff is cheaper, less coding headache and also potentially superior. Just need to figure out which one it is. Oh, and the m3 szl may cause issues with active cruise. I know there were some exceptions with that.

yeah absolutely. if anyone is interested its to do with direction and a bunch of other things needed for features like active cruise.
