My DCT conversion to M3 GWS/FLASH

I have an issue as i can t find a way to connect the m3 "power/dsc off" buttons. Can someone help. And where can i get the connector/ and connected to what cables. I am swapping from AT to M3 DCT with gtw. All m3 modules. Swl/jbe/dsc/gws thx with drivelogic. Thx

Power button is a dead button in a non M application. You can run it to pin 12 on DME subcon 1 if you want but it won't get you anything

If you're using the M3 ABS/DSC unit you will bypass the JBBF. The M3 unit connects directly to the center console dsc button. In non M applications (and 1M) it is routed through the JBBF. I dont know the connector p/n offhand for the center console switch cluster. It's in the thread or the other thread somewhere along with the pinout. I do remember pin 41 of the DSC module connects directly to switch cluster. It's a on/off switch.

Also have the m3dsc/m3swl, what is the best way to connect. And if someone has a schematic to help me. About the dme connection, what pin out of the dme and on the plug of the switch.
Also the dsc need to b rewire, as one of the post show on here. And about the new dsc sensor since i have a 07 3e5i. Thx

Got it all running..
M button, m3dsc/m3szl, m3gws and 1km0s tune.
Dsc off works, m button works. Cic does not updste yet. And powee button/led inop, no lights on the dsc/power button yet.
Did adaptation on the dct.. and drove about 60 miles did a small log at 17psi 3-4 gears... on DS-S6 dsc off. It felt good no slippage yet at 500ish whp/wtq on 93 oct. I will drive some more before increasing boost. And report.

Switch plug part # 61 13 6 909 008
POWER = DME grey# 12 - pin 4 on switch (inop with msd81) M button on steering shpuld be the switch table one of 1M. ( can bus Msg ID 399) thx Roma.
DSC OFF = DSC pin# 41 - pin 6 on switch
GRD 31 - pin 1 on switch connector
LIGHT - pin 2 on switch (thx @LMB335is)
Lighting idk yet.

I got stock with the wiring of the YAW to dsc
No need to change any on DSC.
All is in the YAW connector for older models like mine . This is the correct pinning:
DSC - YAW
39 - 4
27 - 1
11 - 3

- Does anyone figured the power button with the sport table vs the confort table on 1M bin? Working?
- MDM? Working?
- Variable LC? How do i activate? Not sure it works yet?
- last, does anyone using JB4 mobile on a swap can see the tranny temps on the jb4 mobile or on a log? I can t and before i troubleshoot that i wanted to make sure it was possible to read them. Also wu
What do u set ur timing value: 5? 8?

What do u set ur timing value: 5? 8?

1) Shift lights are not functional, it's a function of the M3 DME. I'm working with someone to get them to work in non M cars right now.

2) Power button is a function of the M3 DME as well. You can wire it into the same pin in the #1 DME subconnector that the M3 is wired to but nothing will
happen. With the IKM0S bin the M button is roughly the same function. It increases the throttle sensitivity but since these tables are now available for
all ROMs it's not that big a deal. You could also just use the values in all your throttle tables and have it as your default.

3) MDM, not working. Another subfunction of MDrive and the M3 DME.

4) Car warmed up, DSC off, drivelogic on 6, manual mode, hold gearshift forward, flag should pop up, floor the pedal, now use the cruise control stalk either up and down or back and forth (I forget) to adjust in 100 rpm increments, release the gear shift and hang on.

5) No idea about JB4's

A lot of this stuff just hasn't been discovered yet. The main intention was for the M-DCT programming in the transmission. All of the other pieces were just icing on the cake; mostly restricted to the M3 DME. I feel like we got lucky with how much works!

I've been digging around trying to find pinout of that triple button setup... not having much luck

Pin 2 is for power. Just tap it into the cigarette lighter (if you have that) illumination lead or some other source close by.
