The seals aren't too bad I used the AGA tool, glad I did it aswell, my old VC had puked oil down the injector bores.


@Idratherbesurfing not too worried about the bolts not having washers, they are only tourqued to 8.5nm/6.2ftlbs.

Exactly or switch to a fastener with a larger head or built in flange, or a captured washer, or use a split or Belleville washer, etc. The fastener options are almost endless: https://www.mcmaster.com/fasteners then even make caps for fasteners if you care about looks etc.

Small drop of the weakest thread locker will help stop any movement for insurance sake.

There is one problem with that engine bay which will cause issues, you need some kind of cowl to keep water out of the valley where the spark plugs are in the rain or when washing your car.

Im not saying the price is bad cause its decent for CF but for that price i'd rather have billet.

@Idratherbesurfing dunno if it's just for that pic, but your rear coils aren't seated all the way down.

They are actually pushed down all the way but on those delfi coils they have that little rubber cover piece that moves up-and-down and it wasn't Laying flush on the bracket.

Yeah pretty sure it's the loss of the alignment dowels causing weird fitment.

I shaved the bracket and the shoulder of the bolt to make mine fit, it was off by less than a mm, but just enough to suck lol


Here's my can at the moment. I'm replacing this with a a pan evac once I get the bungs welded.

where are your battery cables routed through? Are you worried about heat? I want to move those pieces of shit so I can look at my new VC as well.

Also, are you utilizing a PCV valve fitting on the new VC or just hardlining it to a catch can?

PR sells the tools to pull and replace injector seals for cheap. That’s where I bought mine.

This tool has everything, highly recommend since it's the same price as a single BMW injector slide hammer.
