There’s always an m3 diff and axles but requires more work.
These things just aren’t good from a dig

Do they make upgraded axles for it? Or are they really strong enough vs aftermarket n54 axles? Going to the m3 diff is a commitment...

I agree with the above. DSS would get my money given their rep etc.

Yeah, I had terrible timing in 4th gear on my best run... not sure why. I was using NLS on that run, compared to the 11.88 run where I didn't use NLS. I know it was hot and I was doing some back-to-back runs (12 total passes), but I don't know why timing took a dump in 4th gear there. I have a Wedge BEF, but I think the car is due for some new plugs? I should look at the rest of my logs...
From my understanding at post shift timing drop Is from dme pulling crazy timing for torque reduction spiking egt then the timing flatline is knock prevention so that would make sense that anti lag and no lift shift could really mess up timing on stick complete uneducated guess

These are all the reasons @jyamona has been poo-poo'ing on the current NLS/Anti-Lag offerings on the market and saying there is a "right" way to do this which will be coming soon.

Well they won't be adding NLS/Anti lag with MHD, they are just fixing the shift bog. I think all he's been saying is NLS/Anti lag isn't going to fix the shift bog. You will still want NLS/Anti lag but also the flashable shift bog fix that's "coming soon". :p

Awesome videos. That shift bog is killing you. Does it happen regardless of how slow you shift? Seems like you might be better to shift slower to avoid it than be fast and run into it.

Yup - it's a lose-lose either way :(

What? LOL. NLS, Launch Control, and Anti-lag are all coming to MHD I've been working on them all.

Just loaded the new MHD shift box torque limiter fix via JB4 backend flash. Gonna try it out tonight or tomorrow, I'll chime in afterwards. Super pumped, fingers crossed that it works well!

As we all know, the 6MT has been plagued with shift bog issues for years that no tuner has been able to figure out. The more power you add, the more noticeable the lag/bog is. It feels like the car hits a wall of bricks post-shift, then takes forever to get back into power. During a race, I lose a lot of ground during shifts.

I've tried a handful of suggested "shift bog fixes", but none of them really worked. So, when this was announced, I didn't have high expectations. I loaded it up yesterday and tried it on my way to work this morning. Well, it works! I had the biggest shit-eating grin on my face. The car actually responds to fast shifts and feels like it should.

The only problem... it works so good that I found my Spec Stage 3+ clutch slipping after a hard shift. It wouldn't grab at all in the next gear, just revved to the moon. Kind of disappointing considering the clutch has between 3-5k miles on it (hard miles, none-the-less). I'm sure it doesn't help that I have the drag radials on the car right now, meaning it's gripping very well. The car would never spin or chirp tire between the 1-2 shift or 2-3 shift and I'm sure it will now once I address the clutch. Other people have reported snapped axles between shifts at high power this morning. At this point, I don't care about the potential damages... the manual transmission has finally been unlocked.

M3 diff. No use in building the 335i diff and axles because you’ll just start snapping the input shaft to the diff. There is no way to fix that or address it with our diff design. The M3 diff has a stronger input shaft, completely different design.

Are the factory M3 diff/axles/driveshaft proven to hold up to 800whp 2-step launches with a tire? I'm not well-versed on available diff options.
