Can't wait for the 6-puck sprung.
Do you guys have anything to lock the flywheel in place while we torque the flywheel bolts?

Not sure i think most people run the 6 pucks. Maybe one day or month mfactory will chime in.

My apologies, I do not keep track of this thread, as it was started by one of our vendors and not ourselves.

6 puck solid - In Stock
3 puck sprung - In Stock
6 puck sprung - Delayed 1-2 weeks

For those that are experiencing a small amount of slip after a few thousand miles, you can adjust the pressure plate engagement on the plates by removing shims from the shim stack. This will increase the longevity/usability of the clutch

The 6 puck solid does not wear as fast as the sprung (but with similar driveability), hence why we have almost recommended this. Sprung is not required on your heavy BMW's, but we have to offer it if the customer requests it.

Another 2 weeks? It's going to be so hot when I get mine, I don't have A/c in my garage.
Also why would a a sprung and unsprung have the same driveability? I drove a solid puck, and it is not street friendly.

Also how many shims do you guys recommend using?

What if I remove 1 shim right away, any adverse effects of doing that?
