@langsbr the one map he published I looked at was a stolen MHD map... Definitely not a 500 WHP map.
One thing to consider is that Dean/RFP is at a high altitude and a good number of his customers are as well. I know he's run full E85 at high boost making >500whp (corrected of course) which I didn't think would be possible on just the HPFP at sea level.
Taking the elevation into consideration, is it still possible to make that much boost at low rpms?
@Twisted Tuning do you think even 18 PSI could harm the motor if RPMs are low enough?
Would you consider targeting 24 PSI at 3500 RPM safe for the motor or is it even safe at 3000 RPM?
Seeing exactly same Load Targets in another tune actually made me wonder what those "free maps" are...
Left is what @DaddyBoost published and right is the MHD map leaked maybe 1-2 years ago.

So much for evil tuners ripping of poor customers....
Sure their are times it's the tuner and their are times it's not. What would you think if one tuner couldn't make your car run smooth after 12 revisions and when you switch to the next tuner, he gets it right on the first try running smoothly?
I am really curious as you are constantly defending tuners and not owners and assuming that owners are at fault in your examples. WHAT IF an owner had a healthy car to begin with and the tuner just could not get it right and the next one did off the bat????
Surely there are idiot owners looking for the cheapest opportunity who have some idealized scenario in their heads that involve their car perfectly tuned even though they are cheapskates who don't want to maintain their cars...the wannabe boys who think they are the shit just because they drive a BMW. I get that... but it is the responsible ocd owners who trust tuners and get unusable tunes that I am referring to.
Sure their are times it's the tuner and their are times it's not.
In your scenario i would think that someone in first party had wrong expectations or miscommunication for 12 revisions to take place. Then I think the second tuner would make for dam sure to make a very smooth but probably down on power tune to not push limits that probably was closer to an ots map.
Wait I think that might be what happened in the locked thread.
I made sure to say that it's one thing if car is right but if it isnt you cant expect to count the other revisions against the tuner and I was defending experienced tuners on this platform dealing with tons of bs for not alot of money and getting accused of ripping off people.
You got deal of century cause you had a bad pd trans a bad converter and an ekp still acting up and were all over the place but in every thread the rest of your car is perfect. Their is alot of stuff I dont think has an effect on other things but on this platform anything goes. Shit an unregistered battery can mess with shifting so my advice was do one thing at a time get the car running perfect so when and if a vendor messes up you point the finger at right person.
Even your steering wheel can have unwanted outcome, all those coding apps then dealer messing with modules that aren't what they are expecting ,it just seems like your all over the place and I was responding to optigrab telling him I think he got what I meant a little wrong.
In the end it seems like you have same prob I do I find prob that aren't their and try so hard to make stuff perfect when other people think it is fine. Alot of us have this prob that's why we DIY but when you have extremely high expectations you need to do one thing at a time and make sure it's perfect before you move on. My Haynes should be titled the butterfly effect

Nah. It's like buying a car and finding out that the guy you paid faked the title and the car wasn't his to sell. It's like buying a used car at full book price only to find out it has a rebuilt title.
I didn't pay too much attention until someone made the comment that the maps looked a lot like my MHD OTS v6 maps that were released to the public two years ago when someone with a rooted phone hacked MHD. So tonight I did a comparison and sure enough, your overnight tuning wonder has been selling everyone slightly modified MHD OTS maps with changes he got from BMS or v8Baits tuning guide. So Dean @ RFP isn't much different than AJ @ EMP. Funny how a Dean was able to put together quality maps a few months after telling people he didn't like MHD because he didn't know how flash tune. Some of you guys might not care because you think he did a great job, great support, but you probably didn't have any major issues and the map worked out of the box, like an OTS map should. Unfortunately Dean really doesn't know what he's doing after all. The people who do have issues end up getting blocked so they can't message him anymore. Bottom line you guys were scammed into buying OTS maps with minor changes. It's like buying a used car at full book price only to find out it has a rebuilt title.
This
Yknow, were far enough along now that there may be folks buying these cars who don't know who Borat/Sacha Baron Cohen is.
Yeah but I only paid $6,000 for my N54 with 138k miles .............I'm honestly starting to not feel bad for these people who choose to go with a here today gone tomorrow no name tuner saving you what $50 bucks?
@DaddyBoost, where'd you go? Trying to formulate an excuse for copying MHD maps?
@doublespaces, Ken confirmed above what I assumed.
