Efr 6758 vs 7163

BorgWarner said that they used a turbine wheel unlike anything they've ever seen, a Mixed-Flow Gamma-Ti Turbine Wheel in the efr 7163. I've taken some time to see if any other efr turbo uses such technology but I found none. The question is, would this technology make the efr 7163 spool faster (lesser lag) compared to the 6758 despite having a 5mm larger turbine wheel

I believe all of the EFR lineup use a mixed flow turbine wheel design. Not sure if you've seen this, but attached is an EFR technical doc that talks through all the design features of the line.
