VM top mount. Yeah his numbers have me baffled honestly lol.
I have the VM topmount as well and have always had similar spool as you. I haven’t seen the Doc Race spool as fast as the VM from what I’ve come across on the forums though . I think the Doc Race kit has more volume/length before the turbo than the VM kit does but conversely frees up some hp up top as they tend to make higher peak numbers. Just an observation honestly I have no data to back it up.

I just ordered some 17" MT ET Street R tires to help put the power down.
So more grip means more stress on the driveline. I don't follow higher HP scenarios ... when do the half shafts give up on these cars?

Reflash the JB4 backend and see if it’s the gate spring. Easy enough to flash back to your wedge tune.

I could definitely do that, but I noticed the lag when I swapped springs while still on the JB4 BEF.

He already snapped one on stock turbos I believe.

Yup - I think it's all about how hard you launch. I did a 2-step 4k RPM clutch drop on a prepped track and snapped an axle with stock turbos. I don't plan on hard launching the car at this power level because I don't care about digs. I just want the car to hook up in 2nd gear for once. Right now it spins tires at 750whp in 3rd gear.

I shot 3/6 ball bearings out and destroyed the outer cup on the drivers side half shaft doing a 4500rpm 2step clutch dump on concrete with 458whp stock turbos. Dead hooked. Shoved the car forward a foot dragging the front tires. Was a pretty sight and sound. Was only on 595rs-rr tires too...

Im ready to see some kills at nfz now with Jakes car... keep it together until then man!

BTW - Anyone at @suspenceful's power level should have extra axles for when they snap one.

Since I'm on an M3 setup, I have a pair of factory axles off my 335is if you want them :)

Are you 6MT? Can you ship them to me and have them arrive on (or before) next Thursday (14th)? Wouldn't hurt to bring a spare pair to NFZ next weekend. That's if they're cheap enough, lol.

They were from the large diff. It's not about 6mt vs DCT, it's about what size diff you have. If you have the large diff these would be great spares. And yes, I can UPS them out tomorrow morning if you wanted them. Heavy buggers though, don't know what the cost would be.

Thought even the large case autos still had a thin wall, smaller diameter half shaft? I was running into that issue trying to get new ones...

Might be a dumb question, but how come you didn't spin the motor past 6.5k? Did power fall off up top?

Good numbers regardless.

I let out a little early on accident for the 749whp pull. It happens so fast, lol. As you can see, the power was still climbing so it would've made more if I stayed in it.
