I'd like to get a hydramat on my setup. I've hit fuel cut a few times.
PM JBarros
The combination of the hydramat and the return line focused over top of the mat that makes the difference. Like I stated before, when I tested it I literally ran it down to fumes without cut out.
where and when lolThats funny I use to work with a J barros
Wonder if it's the same guy.. Lol
We can modify your (fuel it) bucket get ya a hydramat = no more fuel cut! But if you're bucket-less send it to me I'm sure I can make a custom clip to make it work to accept the fpr lines - for freeIf like to get a hydramat on my setup. I've hit fuel cut a few times.
Since @TEC just did it he should have a pic I did mine close to 4years agoSo I'm understanding that there is some fuel line modification that needs to be done I'd assume to remove the bottle neck in the factory push lock hard line.
Could one of you guys post up some pictures of what exactly you did and know that is reliable when you get a chance?
Thanks in advance!

I have a complete DIY for the installation including the Hobbs switch. Unfortunately I used photobucket to host the pics so I am having to go back and re-do all of them again. I'm on vaca right now in Asia so I don't have access to everything but I'm going to try to work with what I have. Thanks, I'll wait for him to post up

As for the push lock, I simply heating the end of the line where it connects to the push lock. Once it was nice and warm, I pulled the push lock out and inserted one end of the "y" tee that Jose supplies. Then I used a clamp to tighten everything down between the tee and the feed line. You could also just cut the push lock out and secure it all with a clamp. Either way its a 5 min job and its been working perfectly.
It doesn't you won't have the Y is all.I'm gonna be running e50 so I'll be going with a single not a double 450
Dont know if that changes anything...
No problem, there are 2 lines that come from the other side that all oem buckets have clips for. I retain the use of the bucket for that purpose to retain those clips for those lines to dump fuel onto the mats. Some kits have gone bucketless with just the walbro filter which is dangerous and can lead to starvation(as some have told me they have experienced) which can lead to lean conditions. Lean is mean until it pops one of your pistons.maybe I missed it but how did you delete the venturi but still get fuel over from the other saddle tank?
