If you want to drive around a race car, this platform is stupid for that. Your pro welder can weld fine, but the install by the wire is what was poor. Yeah, I'm sure straight dumps are not loud lol.
It's cold there and not loud because we installed 2 vibrant resonators. Here's the sound outside and inside. Open windows and closed windows. Normal driving and at throttle

Just took her around the neighborhood, staying out of boost. No leaks, and no smoke. Well, it's running dog rich and smells like it, plus a bunch of steam in this 44 degree weather.

Just getting on the gas a tiny bit up a hill in sport mode.... Holy crap those turbos suck some air. At least 3 times louder than stock with mmp inlets. Can't wait to get a tune on this thing.

And my suspension settled back down in the front which is nice. That and no more oil drops in my garage floor

nobody else is also pointing out the fire hazard of that hack job exhaust. I'm sure his neighbors will be thrilled also
Why does it seem too loud for you? Or are you just very concerned for his neighbors?

Took apart oem turbos today to see what was causing whine. Looks like the rear turbo bearing caught the shaft and gouged it. You could feel the bearing binding on it and can't even slide it off the shaft.

You ain't lying. RB and VTT and their Fanboys send like the biggest issues against these turbos

Just did my first log pull with Ken's base map. Holy shit these things pull like crazy, all the way to redline. In MHD monitoring it looks like my boost hit 21 psi but it's running a little rich. WGDC was around 60% at Max boost. Fuel pressures look ok and both STFT maxed at -13 each.

Do you mind posting the log? Depending on where in the pul it isl 60%, but sounds pretty high for those boost levels. You may have a boost leak.

I don't believe I have a boost leak, and it tops at 50%, sorry was doing a lunch run during all of this.

target boost and boost psi are spot on, if I had a leak i would never be able to hit target.

Thanks for sharing! 50% is much more reasonable for those boost levels. What are you running on the low pressure side? Looks like it is starting to have a hard time keeping up. Also you may want to consider upgrading your FMIC at some point, 25 deg is a pretty big rise on a single gear pull. Not trying to pick your log apart and overall looks pretty clean, just offering advice. I am sure Ken will get it dialed in nicely! Glad to hear they are working well for you.

I don't know what intercooler it is, its aftermarket and looks like a non-stepped 5". I will def. be going to a VRSF 7" in the near future. The previous owner had put in a Walbro 255 on the low side, but yeah, i saw it dipping down close to 50 psi.
