Sorry Nick but your shit has to stop. Tell the truth and try to dig out of the hole you've dug. I've tried, you know I have. But this is just going too far and has to stop.

@Chris@VargasTurboTech
So Nick told me that he got a free 15" rear brake kit off you because something about a shipping error (used USPS and not Fedex, IIRC). When he called Tony got all upset and threatened him. You said fuck it and gave him the kit for free.

I don't believe most of it, Tony getting upset well LOL. But I'm just letting you know what's been said and I'm curious as to any truth in it?

I have ditched the DAW S4 and I’m now installing my doc single turbo kit 672452BE-F2A4-4520-A886-D7B625CE4850.jpeg

A 2019 zr1 does 134mph in the 1/4. A full weight DAW stage 2 XI car went 131 in the 1/4 at 22psi. Going off those results you should see mid 130s no problem in the 1/4 since you are gutted.

Where are these numbers coming from?

The gutted car with DAW stage 2s is running 123mph at 22psi.

I hit 123 mph after that on 22 psi and the car was too wobbly

The ZR1 numbers were from R&T. Here is the other claim.

I had some issues this time at the track. Made a few mistakes and have dropped the pressure too much on rear tires. (Listened to my friend that thinks he knows what hes doing) anyways. We are coming out this Saturday with better tires and someone that knows what they're doing to try to get some good numbers in.

We had some problems at the track and dropped the pressure way too much on my 19s rims and my car was soo wobbly at 60 mph + that one time I almost went on second lane. Am also on e40 only and 22 psi tapered to 20 psi on higher rpms (need stage 3 lpfp). That xi did 131 or so is flat 22 psi and e50 which is much more powerful then e40. with good air pressure should be at 128 to 130 mph. We are going out this Saturday with better tires to see what it will do. I am still practicing and new to this quarter mile game. this was my 4th time on the track and first time with this turbos. My transmission is also acting weird might have to swap it or change oil. In quarter mile the most important is 60 ft. And mine was very bad... wednsday prep was horrible and tires spun and spun on second and third gear. Federal 595 rs RR did not do that good but I am over 525 whp so who knows.

60' will get your et down, but mph will be based on power. Even with a crappy 60', your mph should be about the same.

good luck. I don't like to run my car on the vht prepped track since it likes to break drivetrain components.

make sure you're running xhp stage 3. Also the BMS trans cooler has helped keep trans temps way down.

I'm running the pure 600s at about 30 psi now and the shifts are nice and crisp

I thought my tranny was shifting weird but I just drove my cuzens 335 stock turbo with only 66 or so I miles on the clock and his shifts pretty much the same as mine just little little but smoother since he has less miles. I'll most likely do trans service and chage the oil and oil pan with filter that I bought a month ago and the rubbers. Should be better. I have xhp stage 3 as well. Btw my tires were on very low air. I have 19s and my federals were on 18 psi. I almost went on the next lane but not all the way it got kind of close. That slows down the mph if the tires have very low pressure right?

That style tire is not meant to have air let out, and will perform worse at the track. Run that style with the recommended air as it will give you the most surface area.
Slicks are designed different and you are able to run those with less air.

That is because that car was gutted, on a lot more boost, or was spraying. I appreciate Glassreflectionzn54 for posting actual results. He seems to be one of the few DAW results that was an actual customer and not affiliated somehow. I am not knocking the turbos but there are definitely not anything groundbreaking. I have been on the platform a long time and knew the car would not run anywhere near mid 130's. Using DAW logic it definitely should though!

I was talking about the XI. Glass will see higher 120s next time he is out. Im not

You will see higher 120s next run. Too much air out will kill your trap times. At 25psi you should crack 130s np. These E92s are not great drag cars anyways. Roll racing is where you will see the most gain once you get your car dailed in and happy.

I am talking about the XI car. There is no way that car went 131 full weight at 22psi with no additional power adder. It just does not add up. Glassreflectionzn54 posted realistic results.

agreed, 131mph traps seem high for 22psi, hence my reaction on where the f these numbers were coming from

Haha yeah. The crazy part is the majority were sharing talking about how great the turbos were. If you do some digging the shop posted pics of the car stripped saying something about a race car build. It is amazing what people will do for sales. Also I found it amusing comparing speedo vids. Clearly from the track times/traps it is not anywhere near a new ZR1. 10mph is huge in the 1/4.

If you can trap 120s at 22psi and get 550whp with the entry Stage 2s I think thats a good result so far. Longevity for DAWs will have to be proven. Looks like there have been quite a few sold so far.

Wow thank you I knew not to listen to people that doesn't know what they're talking about but did this time. It's ok we're coming out this Saturday with better tires and a guy that knows what hes doing. I'll post results

The thing is idk I have not looked deeper into the xi that did 10.9 but I talked to their friend and he has helix overdrive and AR coil and even if they are at 22 psi they have healthy e85 flow at higher rpm which mine kind of on low numbers so we had to detune it at 5.5k slowly from 22 psi to 20 psi by 7k. So they are on 22psi flat from 1500 rpms to 7k rpms. I am only at 525 whp and that Xi is healthy 570 whp. Turbos are kind of big and you feel it right away. My fuel system really only has old stage 2 lpfp and it's not doing its job. Am not trying to defend them since I don't even know the story behind that xi but on quarter mile the most important is 60 ft and with those radials they have (it's not just gay Ebay radials like stated those things hook like crazy) he can do 10.9 with that power. I dont know about 131 mph trap speed. That I dont know about. Car has hella power even though it's full interior. Idk

Whole different ball game comparing drag numbers to roll racing. Far too many variables.

Yes we keep forgetting how hard for these 335s to get good 60ft. It's so difficult. Unreal difficult. If I'll do 127 mph this Saturday I will be very very happy
