Hello, the response is typical for a turbo of that size which means the action really starts around 3500 rpms but gas pedal position and gear selection can have n impact on the overall response.

Sadly this project has come to an end after an unfortunate accident! After the insurance settlement I've decided to move on, almost all upgraded parts will be up for sale soon, please stay tuned.

Why the DAWs out of curiosity? They appear the same as any other 19T chinesum turbo. Owner is a bit sketchy and there have been a number of documented failures on the forums, but I assume the failure rate for all 19Ts is about the same as the all come from the same factory in China with just a different name stamped on them.

Based on all I have seen the DAWs are actually larger than the TD04 based turbos and the 19 t's promising more performance, the manifolds and turbine castings may be from a Chinese manufacturer, but the finish work and the build quality seems to be above the rest. I was particularly impressed when I looked at the YouTube videos posted by "Alex the Russian" and "Zero to Sixty". There will always be failures, I have read about failures from every brand, some more than others but because nobody actually posts the REAL truth about what they did wrong during their install one can never be sure. I will continue to do my research and read as much as I can before I decide to pull the trigger but for now the DAWs Max Flow+ turbos are the bomb for me.
Hi all, I 've decide to hold on to my baby! I have already started gathering parts to restore her and get her back on the road, I will still be buying the Z, so eventually I'll have two FAST BM's in my stable if all goes well that is! fingers crossed!

Wow, that's some low mileage on that thing! Did you say earlier in the thread what year it is?
