What size nozzles are you using?
I need to add a second to the charge pipe I don't have enough.. wanna get to around 1650cc and I'm at 1200
I have a single DO7 in the CP now and plan to switch over to two aquamist nozzles in the CP to go the the 110cc in the runners x6
I have played with meth for years now and wish I switch over to aquamist long long ago! Rich is semi hard to deal with because he didn't understand us as well I think (like a culture barrier) but the product is too notch, I've put together my fair share of meth systems and I always plan for leaks.. first try with a completely bonkers one off system with untested kit on my car and not a single leak yet..
I did go back over the compression threads and lock tite them because they were getting loose.
I'm using a 110cc nozzle per runner and a 220cc one at the charge pipe, all internally check valved just as recommended by Aquamist for my HP goal (up to 450whp).
Also, I'm using a mix of ethanol and water, 70:30 by weight, basically rubbing alcohol sold at the pharmacy here.
Not as effective as methanol but it's so much safer to handle and no mixing is required, like the BoostJuice.
Aquamist has been around for a long long time, like 2-30 years afaik so I understand if Richard is not as responsive as before. But he seemed to be very active on other forums, like Ford, VW, NASIOC, etc a few years ago.
Howertonengineering was very helpful with the info on their website but they stopped Aquamist support a few months ago.
I guess they have retired.
Yes, I've noticed the compression fittings are getting loose after a few months, especially where they see more heat and vibration.
I tried Loctite green in one of them and decided I'd never use it again because it was tight AF.
I had to use pliers to unscrew it and it left marks. I decided to just re-tighten them from time to time.
The last time I've checked mine was after a month and they were still finger tight so I guess the hoses aren't pushing the fittings back as much after re-tightening a few times.
